| Objective:To observe the effect of local vaginal administration of lactic acid bacteria/traditional Chinese medicine effervescent tablets on cervical HPV infection and its impact on vaginal microbiota.Methods:70 cases of HPV infection, aged from 19 to 59 years old, were selected from dermatology and Department of Gynecology of the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from November 2021 to May 2022.According to the order of visits, they were numbered sequentially and divided into an experimental group of 35 cases and a control group of 35 cases using the random number table method. The experimental group received topical application of lactic acid bacteria/traditional Chinese medicine effervescent tablets, while the control group received topical application of recombinant human interferonα-2b effervescent tablets. After 3 months of treatment, observe the HPV negative conversion and the trend of changes in vaginal microbiota in both groups of patients.Result:1.After treatment,33 patients and 34 patients were included in the experimental group and the control group, respectively. The average age of the experimental group was 39.42±1.676 years old, while the average age of the control group was 39.53±1.621 years old.The age difference between the two groups was(t=-0.045,P=0.964);The average course of disease in the experimental group was 16.33±0.992 months, while the average course of disease in the control group was 15.65±0.997 months. The comparison of the course of disease between the two groups of patients(t=0.488,P=0.627)indicates that there is no statistically significant difference in age and course of disease between the two groups of patients.2.After the end of the treatment course, the total effective rate of cervical HPV in the experimental group(75.76%)was statistically significant(?~2=4.750,P=0.033)compared to the control group(50.00%).3.There was no statistically significant difference in bacterial community density between the experimental group before and after treatment(?~2=0.266,P=0.606)and the control group before and after treatment(?~2=0.000,P=1.000);There was no statistically significant difference in microbial diversity between the experimental group before and after treatment(?~2=0.639,P=0.424)and the control group before and after treatment(?~2=0.000,P=1.000);There was no statistically significant difference in sialidase activity between the experimental group before and after treatment(?~2=3.264,P=0.071)and the control group before and after treatment(?~2=0.327,P=0.567).4.After the end of the treatment course, there were statistically significant differences in the Nugent scores(?~2=4.586,P=0.032),p H values(?~2=6.710,P=0.010),hydrogen peroxide(?~2=8.057,P=0.005),and leukocyte esterase(?~2=9.950,P=0.002)between the two groups of patients.Conclusion:1.Lactic acid bacteria/traditional Chinese medicine effervescent tablets can effectively eliminate cervical HPV infection, and the overall efficacy is better than recombinant human interferonα-2b effervescent tablet group.2.In terms of its impact on the vaginal microenvironment, although lactic acid bacteria/traditional Chinese medicine effervescent tablets have no effect on the concentration, diversity, and sialidase of vaginal microbiota. But it can optimize the vaginal p H,hydrogen peroxide, and leukocyte esterase compared to before, while reducing the Nugent score, which is better than recombinant human interferonα-2b effervescent tablet group. |
