Abstract/Summary:
Cervical cancer has become one of the main causes threatening women’s happiness and life and health.Every year, there are about 140,000 new cases of cervical cancer in China, and about 37,000 women die from this disease. The data is still rising. However, with the continuous exploration of the causative factors of cervical cancer, research has found that cervical cancer can be effectively prevented by early vaccination, which is of great significance for reducing the number of patients, and research further understands that the earlier the vaccination of HPV vaccine, the better the effect of prevention, especially before sexual activity. At the same time, cervical cancer can also be blocked by early screening and treatment. But because cervical cancer such diseases involve privacy and easy to be "stigmatized",often lead to female college students difficult to speak, and female college students for cervical cancer and HPV vaccine lack of correct understanding, resulting in them to miss the best vaccination time or unfortunately infected with HPV virus, eventually leading to disease. Therefore, the correct understanding of cervical cancer related knowledge, for female college students to strengthen HPV vaccination willingness, improve cervical cancer screening compliance is of vital significance.Based on this, this study will take the cervical cancer information seeking behavior of female college students as the research context, take the risk information seeking and processing model as the theoretical basis, and focus on the e-health literacy related to personal characteristics and the influence of information source trust related to media characteristics on risk perception.Furthermore, this paper explores how risk perception, emotional response and subjective norms of information,as mediating effects of personal characteristics and behavioral intention, affect women’s search for cervical cancer risk information,so as to construct a structural equation model. In this study, questionnaire star was used to make questionnaires, which were collected online and offline by scanning wechat two-dimensional code.SPSS25.0 software was used to analyze the data, and Mplus8.3 was used to test the hypothesis of structural equation model. The results showed that information source trust,e-health literacy, emotional response and information subjective norms had a direct positive effect on information seeking behavior, information source trust and e-health literacy had a positive effect on risk perception, and risk perception had a positive effect on emotional response and information subjective norms as mediating factors. After further dividing information source trust into formal information source trust and informal information source trust,it is found that informal information source trust has no significant effect on information seeking behavior. In addition, affective response is further divided into positive emotion and negative emotion, and it is found that positive emotion has no significant effect on information seeking behavior. This study further tested the applicability of RISP model, provided a new direction for exploring the influence factors of information seeking behavior of female college students in cervical cancer, and carried out localization interpretation in the context of adapting to the Chinese context, making a contribution to further promoting the multi-perspective research of RISP model in China. At the same time,it provides a new method for HPV vaccination and cervical cancer early screening propaganda and mobilization strategy, and improves the level of female college students’ awareness of cervical cancer.
