The Clinical Significance Of The Theory Of General Circulation Of Unitary Qi From The Thought Of "Pathogenesis Above When The Pain Happens Below" In Xiaochaihu Decoction

Objective : Starting from the pathogenesis provisions of Xiaochaihu Decoction,tracing to the source and exploring the mechanism of "The pathogenesis above when the pain happens below" as a springboard,combining with the idea of the general circulation of unitary qi,further grasp the timing of using this prescription,so as to better guide clinical practice.Methods: This study was based on the excavation and analysis of ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine,comprehensively applied the analysis and discussion of the trend of sex,taste and pathogenesis of various herbs in Xiaochaihu Decoction and prescription from ancient to present,guided by the holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine,so as to put forward the comprehensive and innovative explanation of "The pathogenesis above when the pain happens below".Combined with many years of clinical experience and cases of the tutor,the author summarized the tutor’s analysis of the connotation of the pathogenesis provisions from the idea of the general circulation of unitary qi,and the effective clinical guidance methods.Conclusion: The pathogenesis of Xiaochaihu Decoction is closely related to the operation of Xianghuo."The pathogenesis above when the pain happens below" is actually not a specific part of the difference between high and low,but refers to the central pathogenesis of Xianghuo operating abnormally."The conclusive evidence" is not a specific symptom,but a combination of symptoms of the above pathogenesis.Therefore,the use of the Xiaochaihu Decoction should be in the right time.In the clinical application of Xiaochaihu Decoction,the tutor clarified the pathological connotation of Xiaochaihu Decoction syndrome,and understood that Xiaochaihu Decoction reflected the holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine from the idea of raising the spleen and lowering the stomach with the theory of general circulation of unitary qi,and also created a new idea for the treatment of lower pain and the expanded the use of this prescription.
