Application And Effect Evaluation Of Family Participation Remote Nursing Model In Patients With COPD And Their Families

Objectives:1.To explore the influence of family participation remote nursing model on the knowledge,self-management ability,quality of life,unplanned readmission rate of patients with COPD and the care ability of patients’ families.2.To investigate patients’ satisfaction with family participation remote nursing model.Methods:1.Convenience sampling method was used to select 82 pairs of COPD patients and their families who were hospitalized in a respiratory department of a grade 3A hospital in Shanxi from May to October 2022 as research objects.2.According to random number table,the patients and their families were randomly divided into two groups,with 41 pairs in each group.The control group patients was treated with routine discharge guidance and regular follow-up,and the experimental group patients was treated with family participation remote nursing model on the basis of routine discharge guidance.3.The intervention time was 12 weeks.After the intervention,the scores of the Bristol COPD Knowledge Questionnaire(BCKQ),the COPD Self-Efficacy Scale(CSES),the COPD Assessment Test(CAT),and the unplanned readmission rate were compared between the two groups of patients,and the Family Care Test Inventory(FCTI)of the two groups of patients’ families were compared.4.After the intervention,the patients’ satisfaction with the family participation remote nursing model was investigated.Results:1.Dropout of subjects: 2 pairs of patients and their families in the control group were unwilling to continue to participate.In the test group,1 patient worsened,and 2 patients and their families were unwilling to continue to participate.Finally,39 pairs of subjects were included in the control group and 38 pairs in the test group.2.Before the intervention,the general information,knowledge level,self-management ability,quality of life of patients of the two groups,and general information and care ability of the family members of the two groups were statistically analyzed.The results showed that the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and there is comparability between the two groups.3.After the intervention,the BCKQ,CSES and each dimension scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before the intervention,while the CAT,FCTI and each dimension scores were decreased compared with those before the intervention,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The BCKQ,CSES and each dimension scores in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group,and the CAT,FCTI and each dimension scores,unplanned readmission rate in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.To investigate the satisfaction of COPD patients with the family participation remote nursing model,the results showed that the overall evaluation of the patients on the nursing model was(3.58 ± 0.60)points.The score of nursing content was(4.05 ± 0.66)points,nursing form was(4.08 ± 0.63)points,nursing quality was(3.55 ± 0.65)points,and nursing effect was(3.03 ± 0.64)points.Conclusions:1.The family participation remote nursing model can effectively improve the patients’ disease cognition,enhance their health behaviors compliance,alleviate their clinical symptoms,improve their quality of life,reduce the readmission rate of patients,and effectively enhance the care ability of their families.2.Patients are relatively satisfied with the family participation remote nursing model,which has certain reference value for the implementation of home care for COPD patients.
