In today’s era,due to the continuous changes in the labor market technology and economic development, occupation planning has become a hot project in the consulting industry, and the implementation of the new college entrance examination classification system makes high school career planning on the front stage of education reform.High school students in the changing period of physiology, cognition and emotion need to complete the preliminary career exploration with the help of the system and environment. How to find the career goal in the turbulent society has become the key task of high school students in the high school stage. As the most important solid force for their children in high school, parents play a crucial role in individual career exploration. In order to give full play to the important supporting force of parents, based on the social cognitive career theory and ecological system theory, this study adopts the tracking research design to explore the cross-lag relationship among parent-child relationship, parental support and career exploration. In this study, cluster sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 3462 senior high school students from two ordinary high schools in Shandong and Henan Province, including 1769 boys and 1693 girls, aged 15.11 years. The parent-child relationship was evaluated by the parent-child relationship questionnaire revised by Wu and Huang(2011).Career related parents support was revised by Cheng et al.(2012).Career exploration scale was revised by Zhang and Ye(2010).The above tools have good reliability and validity in the sample of high school students. There were three times of data collection in this study, and the interval between the two surveys was one year.Three times of data collection were carried out on the same group of subjects with the class as the unit. After eliminating the unqualified subjects in the questionnaire,SPSS 22.0 was used for data entry and data preprocessing, and the reliability and validity of the scale were tested, and the key variables of this study were described, analyzed and tested;Amos 24.0 was used to build the model, and the latent variable structural equation tested the cross-lag effect. The main findings are as follows(1)There is a positive correlation between parent-child relationship and parental support, and there is also a positive correlation between parental support and career exploration of senior high school students.(2)parent child relationship of senior high school students has a lag prediction effect on parental support, and parental support also has a lag prediction effect on career exploration of senior high school students.(3)parental support plays a partial intermediary role between parent-child relationship and career exploration.Parents’ career support not only plays a direct and indirect role in the process of exploring parent-child relationship, but also plays an indirect role in the process of exploring parent-child relationship. This has contributed a certain theoretical basis to the field of career counseling and mental health of high school students. This paper puts forward some suggestions for the career exploration and guidance of high school students from the perspective of family. As parents in the new era,on the one hand, they should be aware of the significance of modern parent-child relationship in the process of their children’s growth;on the other hand, they should provide practical professional assistance and constantly update their education and professional concepts. It is necessary to take the initiative to learn professional knowledge and use their own experience to help their children face the challenges.
