| Creativity is the ability of individuals to produce novel、unique and valuable ideas or products,which is very important for people’s daily work and learning.Therefore,how to improve creativity is a common concern in the academic field.Aerobic exercise can not only strengthen the body,but also has been proved that creativity can benefit from aerobic exercise.However,previous studies have not examined the influence of short-term aerobic exercise of different durations on creativity,and in such studies,the influence of individual exercise habits is less considered.Based on this,the study takes college students as subjects,and divides them into two groups:regular exercise group and little exercise group according to their exercise habits.It reveals the immediate and delay effects of short-term and moderate intensity aerobic exercise on creativity.This study is divided into two studies.Study 1 explored the immediate effect of 12 minutes(experiment 1)and 25 minutes(experiment 2)moderate intensity aerobic exercise on the creativity of regular exercisers and less exercisers.In order to explore whether there is a difference between 12 minutes and 25 minutes moderate intensity aerobic exercise on the creativity of regular exercisers and less exercisers,the results of experiment 1 and experiment 2 were compared.Study 2(experiment 3)further explored the delayed effect of short-term moderate intensity aerobic exercise on the creativity of regular exercisers and less exercisers on the basis of experiment 2.The following conclusions are drawn in this study:(1)For less exercisers,shorter 12 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise has a better immediate effect on promoting divergent thinking,while for regular exercisers,25 minutes of exercise is better.(2)Whether it is 12 minutes or 25 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise,both can significantly promote people’s convergent thinking and there is no significant difference in the promotion effect,but they have a better effect on the immediate promotion of the convergent thinking of less exercisers.(3)The effect of 25 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise on people’s divergent thinking can not be delayed by 30 minutes.(4)The 25 minutes moderate intensity aerobic exercise can’t delay 30 minutes in promoting people to correctly answer the task of convergent thinking,but it can delay 30 minutes in promoting people’s speed of answering the task of convergent thinking.In conclusion,short-term moderate intensity aerobic exercise can improve people’s creativity,but different duration of aerobic exercise has different efects on regular exercisers and less exercisers.Because aerobic exercise is simple,feasible and can be implemented at any time,it provides a convenient way for people to improve their creativity and can be widely used among different groups of people. |
