| Textbooks are the carrier of course teaching,and the use of teaching materials that "teachers love to teach and students love to learn" can help international students acquire more knowledge and skills to a large extent.The main purpose of the preparation of economic and trade preparatory textbooks is to remove the obstacles of vocabulary learning for preparatory undergraduate students.However,at present,there seems to be a disconnect between the vocabulary of economic and trade preparatory textbooks and professional textbooks,which may reduce the teaching effect that economic and trade preparatory textbooks want to achieve.Therefore,The article selects the economics and trade preparatory textbook "Business Chinese Reading Course" and the professional economics and trade textbook "Western Economics" to conduct lexical cohesion research,examines the specific conditions of the lexical cohesion between the two,and verifies whether there is a disconnect between the lexical cohesion between the two textbooks.First,use Python’s jieba thesaurus library to segment and count the words of the two textbooks,and calculate the frequency of each word to facilitate the use of vocabulary in the textbooks later.We take the "Chinese Proficiency Standards for International Chinese Education" and "Business Chinese Test BCT(A,B)Outline" as the standard for dividing the daily vocabulary and professional vocabulary of the two textbooks,and call the daily vocabulary and professional vocabulary as outline vocabulary,The vocabulary that exists in the two textbooks but does not exist in the above two standards is called superclass vocabulary.Then,the external cohesion and internal cohesion and morphological reproduction of various vocabulary in the two textbooks are processed.The external cohesion of the vocabulary is the recurrence of the original word,and the internal cohesion of the vocabulary includes the recurrence of synonyms,the recurrence of synonyms,and the co-occurrence of antonyms,so as to examine the specific situation of the cohesion of the two textbooks.Through external connection,it is found that the daily vocabulary in "Business Chinese Reading Course" and "Western Economics" are divided into 1-9 grades due to the characteristics of the judgment standards,and there are original words between each grade in the daily vocabulary part of the two textbooks.There are a lot of them,which shows that the daily vocabulary part of "Business Chinese Reading Course" can be well connected to the words in the daily vocabulary part of "Western Economics".There is also a high vocabulary coverage rate in professional vocabulary and superclass vocabulary.The above analysis can show that the vocabulary cohesion between the two textbooks is good.Through the internal cohesion,it is found that there are many synonyms and antonyms repeated between the corresponding vocabulary of the two textbooks,and there are not many recurrences of synonyms.Generally speaking,the internal cohesion of vocabulary improves the lexical cohesion between the two textbooks.In addition to the statistics on the recurrence of morphemes,some morphemes in "Business Chinese Reading Course" are reproduced in a large number in some words in "Western Economics",a total of 1305,which further proves that the two textbooks have good vocabulary of cohesion.In order to improve the quality of vocabulary selection in economic and trade preparatory textbooks,the author combines the research and feedback of seniors on preparatory students after entering professional studies,and proposes targeted optimization suggestions for the selection of vocabulary in economic and trade preparatory textbooks,hoping to compile economic and trade preparatory textbooks.Give a little strength to your business. |
