Research On Grammar,Semantics And Pragmatics Of "Dànfán" In Modern Chinese

This thesis takes the word "Danfan" in modern Chinese as the research object,and observes the effective language materials containing "Danfan" in the CCL corpus of Peking University and the BCC corpus of Beijing University.Guided by the theory of "three planes" grammar research,the syntactic distribution,semantic features,and pragmatic functions of the adverbial and linking word "Danfan" are described and explained in detail s,and suggestions are made for the writing of entries in the "Modern Chinese Dictionary" and the practice of Chinese teaching.At the syntactic level,"Danfan" is distributed at the beginning and in the sentence,and can be combined with substantive components,predicate components,and clauses to form the previous clause.At the same time,the latter clause often contains "Jiu/Dou/Zong/Jie /Yebu(hui)" and so on appear in correspondence with it,and "Danfan" can be omitted at this time.At the semantic level,the basic semantics of "Danfan" are: when used as an adverb of scope,it means to limit the scope of people or things and to generalize the objects involved in a certain range,it has an colligative property and categorization;when used as a conditional conjunction,it acts as a trigger the sufficient conditions of the resulting event,it serves as a "conditional generative";when hypothetical conjunctions are used,it is used to make assumptions about situations contrary to facts,as "counterfactual hypotheses." The semantic orientation of "Danfan" is a single post-reference,which can point to the agent subject,the target subject,and can also point to the recipient subject,location adverbial,etc.At the pragmatic level,"Danfan" tends to be more widely used in spoken language,and it is mainly distributed in declarative sentences."Danfan " has the functions of interpersonal interaction to express emotions and attitudes such as regret,grievance,warning,and subjectivity of language,as well as textual functions such as highlighting the focus of information and triggering preset topics.To explain the pragmatic characteristics and reasons of "Danfan" from the perspective of cognitive linguistics,it is found that "Danfan" can affect the position of attention highlighted,"Danfan" helps in cognitive judgment and comparison,"Danfan" is accompanied by contextual meaning and illocutionary meaning.
