| With the improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength,the influence of Chinese language is becoming more and more important,and a Chinese craze has been set off around the world.Among the people who learn Chinese overseas,a considerable number of groups are overseas Chinese children,and they have a strong demand for learning authentic Chinese with professional Chinese teachers.Therefore,paying attention to and studying the Chinese language teaching of overseas Chinese children will help promote the development of Chinese language education as a foreign language.Affected by the epidemic,Chinese teachers are unable to teach overseas.In this context,Online Teaching of Chinese as a foreign language can effectively solve the problem of space and region,and create an online learning environment for Chinese teachers and overseas Chinese children.This study mainly explores the application of immersive pedagogy in the online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language to overseas Chinese children.This paper systematically sorts out the relevant researches on immersion teaching method,online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and Chinese teaching for overseas Chinese children.Combined with teaching practice,it analyzes the immersion teaching method from three aspects in the application of online classes of Chinese as a foreign language: creating a teaching environment,standardizing teachers’ language,and organizing teaching activities.The teaching environment is mainly reflected in the teaching background;teachers’ language is mainly divided into teachers’ spoken language and body language;in the organization of teaching activities,teachers can use the teaching aids in the online classroom to design classroom games on the one hand,and play videos on the other hand.Audio helps students understand the content of the text,enriches the teaching form,and adds interest to the classroom.In this study,the immersion teaching method was used to teach two students with similar Chinese proficiency one-on-one teaching.The same homework and tasks were assigned after class,and one of the students was selected to participate in the immersion after-school expansion activities to be completed by the parents.After the experiment,the students’ learning achievements were tested from the four aspects: listening,speaking,reading and writing by using YCT Level 3 test questions,speaking test and writing test.The results show that the immersion teaching method applied to online teaching Chinese as a foreign language can expand students’ vocabulary.Improve the ability to write Chinese characters,enrich the language expression,improve the oral communication ability,so that the listening,speaking,reading and writing can be fully developed,especially the listening and speaking level can be significantly improved.In addition,for the special group of overseas Chinese children,this study summarizes the problems and teaching suggestions that should be paid attention to when using the immersion teaching method to teach Chinese online. |
