Research On The Current Situation Of Kunqu Opera In Yangzhou Area From The Perspective Of Community Organization

In recent years,with the improvement of China’s cultural soft power,the attention of the academic circle to Kun opera,the "oral intangible cultural heritage of mankind",is gradually heating up.The existing literature mainly studies the development history of Kun opera,legendary scripts,lyrics,singing,stage performance,protection and inheritance,etc.,but pays little attention to the influence of amateur Kun opera lovers and local Kun opera organizations on the development of Kun music.Kun Opera has emerged in Yangzhou since the Ming and Qing Dynasties and has become the "second hometown of Kun opera".However,the research on Kunqu music in this area is far less than that of Suzhou,the birthplace of Kun opera,let alone the research on the organization and community of Kun opera in this area.Based on this,this paper pays attention to the development of Kun opera in Yangzhou,uses the field investigation method of ethnomusicology,makes a case study of the Kun opera community organizations in Yangzhou,and explores the role and significance of the Kun opera community and Kunqu amateurs in protecting and inheriting Kun opera from different perspectives of"principal position" and "audience position".This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly explores how Kunqu music flows into Yangzhou from the historical point of view,and what conditions Yangzhou retains Kunqu music and makes it rise.This paper analyzes the positive actions brought by Yangzhou salt merchants along the canal for the spread and development of Kun opera,that is,the outstanding contributions made by the seven inner classes for the spread of Kunqu music,and summarizes the collection and organization of Kun opera clubs in this area in recent years.The second chapter is the outstanding embodiment of the fieldwork research method.This chapter reviews the development of Kun opera organizations and societies in Yangzhou since modern times,and focuses on analyzing the current situation of Konggu Youlan Kun Opera Club,clarifying the various components and activities of the club,and trying to analyze how these Kunqu amateurs construct their sense of identity to Kun opera.The third chapter mainly analyzes the cultural space of other Kun opera organizations in Yangzhou,which is also an important carrier for the development of Kun Opera.Including the nature of Yangzhou as a tourist city,Yangzhou tourism has also become the intangible carrier of Kun Opera’s development and dissemination.The fourth chapter expounds the current situation and some positive performances of the protection and inheritance of Kunqu music in Yangzhou area,and emphasizes the importance of the protection and inheritance of Kunqu music club in this area.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions on the protection and inheritance of Kunqu music in Yangzhou from various angles.
