“Impromptus Op.143 No.3”,composed by Austrian composer Franz Schubert(1797.1.31 — 1828.11.19),marked the transition from classism to romanticism,and promoted the development of romantic music.Many contemporary scholars paid special attention to this piece during their stydy of impromptus genre.The dissertation is divided into four chapters.Chapter I is Introduction.Chapter II,introduces the historical development of impromptus and the composing background of Impromptus Op142.No.3 In Chapter III,which serves as the core of this dissertation,the author starts from musical forms,chore,and rhythm,in combination with the form of score example,concludes the composing features of Impromptus Op142.No.3,so as to assist the player to better understand the piece and further experience the composition style of Franz Schubert.Chapter IV analyzes the composing features of Franz Schubert’s Impromptus Op142.No.3 in a textual form.With special notice given to personal experience in performing this piece,this part also explores the performance from four aspects,namely,melody,tone,pedal,and emotion.The last part of the article is Conclusion,in which the full content of this dissertation will be summarized.
