| The study uses documentary, textual and historical contextual methods to examine modern Chinese military and national sports thinking from the perspective of ’saving the nation’,with the ultimate aim of exploring the relationship between sports, people and the state, and discussing the influence of the state on the development of sports, how sports themselves should develop and how they can contribute to the development of people. The question. The study is divided into three parts: firstly,it examines the development and evolution of military and national sports thinking in modern China;secondly,it analyses the characteristics of military and national sports thinking in modern China from the perspectives of sports development, personal development, national development and the construction of the relationship between the three, and clarifies its development characteristics and trends. Finally,it analyses modern Chinese military and national sports thinking and explains its historical significance and contemporary value. The study concludes that the entire development of modern Chinese military and national sports thought is closely linked to the realistic demand of "saving the nation" in modern China, and that the relationship between sport, the individual and the nation is based on the demand of the times for "saving the nation".From the perspective of the construction of the relationship between the three, modern Chinese military and national sports thinking has the following characteristics: firstly, the impetus for development, the entry point for development and the opportunity for development all originated from the aspiration of the times to "save the nation",and the instrumental rationality of sports was prominent.Secondly, under the influence of the aspiration of the times to "save the nation",the concept of nurturing people in modern Chinese military and national sports thought emphasised the instrumental rationality of inspiring people-the embodiment of the role of "saving the nation".Thirdly, the relationship between the state, sport and people was interactive under the aspiration of the times to ’save the nation’,and the link between the three was based on pragmatism, with ’human development’ as the basis for national development. An overview of the germination, development and decline of the idea of national sport in modern China, and a discussion of the links between sport, people and the state, can provide some historical lessons for the development of sport today: the development of contemporary sport in China still needs to balance the relationship between good people, sport and the state-the state provides the development of sport with strong economic and political power, and sport with scientific means. The state, with its strong economic and political power, contributes to the development of sport;sport promotes human development through scientific means;and both the state and sport promote human development based on the basic principle of ’putting people first’. |
