Online Chinese teaching became popular with the arrival of the epidemic.Although the epidemic is gradually fading away,online Chinese teaching will continue to be retained as one of the important teaching methods of International Chinese Teaching.The flagship Chinese project of the cooperation between the University of Hawaii and Beijing Foreign Studies University is one of them.The author was fortunate to participate in the one-onone online Chinese single-class teaching of the Chinese project CHN485.Facing the online Chinese task-based classroom for advanced learners,the author gradually became interested in how to design specific and operable teaching activities around specific communicative projects.Although TBLT has been extensively studied in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,there are few researches on communicative teaching design based on advanced Chinese one-on-one tutoring class.How to play the bonding role of communicative tasks and improve the classroom teaching effect?The author hopes to put forward opinions through the analysis,implementation and reflection of classroom design.First of all,after defining the task instructional design and Chinese communicative activities,the author makes a detailed introduction to CHN485 single class from four perspectives:general situation,teacher,students and teaching materials.Then,it analyzes the objectives,principles and contents of instructional design vertically,and proposes the links,steps and actions of communicative activities horizontally.Later,the author concretely shows and analyzes the implementation of communicative activities in the early,core and later task through classroom observation and teaching log.Finally,this paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the design from the perspective of students’ actual level,teacher’s literacy,teaching topics and requirements.That is,the depth of communicative tasks can be adjusted flexibly according to students’ situations,but the difficulty and interest of task setting are difficult to control.Based on this,the author finally puts forward relevant suggestions.
