A Probe Into The Theoretical Pedigree Of Becker’s Sociology Of Art And Its "Sinicization"

This paper takes Becker’s theory of the art world as the research object,carries out a systematic analysis from three levels: theoretical ontology,pedigree and "sinicization".Using the method of literature analysis,the author first introduces the core of Becker’s theory of art sociology-"art world",and analyzes its background and core content.Secondly,the author discusses the pedigree of Becker’s theory of the art world,including the connection with other sociological and aesthetic theories and the extension of follow-up research.Finally,the author analyzes the domestic practical research based on Becker’s theory,and interprets the "sinicization" process of Becker’s theory.This paper believes that after Becker’s theory of art entered China,it gradually sinicized under the construction of practical research.This process is highly reflexive,and its essence is the two-way construction between theoretical and practical research.
