A Philosophical Foundational Study Of Xi Jinping’s View Of Science And Technology

Xi Jinping has always attached great importance to the development of science and technology.Based on Chinese characteristics and with an eye on the global trend of science and technology development,he has profoundly summarised the experience of science and technology practice at home and abroad,and formed a rich,systematic and complete view of science and technology.Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology has provided theoretical guidance and action guidelines to promote the construction of an innovation-oriented country,and has led to a development path with Chinese characteristics.Scientific theories inevitably have a philosophy that is the essence of the times as the foundation of the theory,and Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology is no exception.This article attempts to carry out a systematic study of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology from a philosophical perspective,using a Marxist position,perspective and methodology.The research on the conditions for the generation of the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology should synthesize realistic foundation and theoretical sources.On the one hand,this article analyses the practical basis for the generation of the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology from the perspective of a summary of the lessons learned from past domestic and international science and technology practices and the new requirements for accelerating the building of a strong science and technology nation.On the other hand,this article sorts out the theoretical sources of the generation of the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology from the dimensions of the leadership of Marx and Engels in science and technology,the inheritance of the Chinese Communist Party leaders in science and technology,and the inheritance of the elements of science and technology in traditional Chinese philosophy and culture,and presents the conditions for the generation of the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology in a comprehensive and systematic manner.The formation and refinement of the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology is a process of continuous development.This article sorts out the process of the generation of this idea in the context of historical development.By studying Xi Jinping’s experiences in science and technology practice and his ideological transformation at different times and in different regions,the process of the formation and development of the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology will be divided into three periods,namely the working period before the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the central working period from the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,and the central working period since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology is an inheritance and development of Marxist materialism,dialectics,epistemology and historical materialism.From the perspective of dialectical materialism,this article concludes that Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology adheres to the world view of dialectical materialism,the methodology of materialistic dialectics and the epistemology of the unity of practice and knowledge.Secondly,from the perspective of historical materialism,the article reveals that Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology adheres to the law of contradictory movement between productive forces and relations of production,the economic base and the superstructure,and advocates the value concept of the people as the main body.Finally,on top of sorting out the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology,the value of studying the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping’s view of science and technology is explained.
