In the history of Chinese landscape painting,Shen Zhou stands at the center of the timeline.As the central figure and pioneer of the Wu Men School of painting,Shen Zhou led the artistic development of an era and was a milestone figure in the history of Chinese art.It is worth exploring the connotation of Shenzhou landscape art and its influence on later generations,and exploring its cultural connotation from different perspectives.Shen Zhou emphasized that "concentrating the mind and thinking is intended to put the brush first".After fully thinking and observing the overall appearance and charm of the natural landscape,the painter should express the understood natural landscape in the picture,and should not brush blindly before grasping it.The characteristics of Shen Zhou’s landscape art language are as follows: the painting style of his early works attaches great importance to exquisite details,while the painting style of his later works is vigorous,thick and vigorous,and the painting tends to be thick.The geometric form of mountains in his works is obvious,which greatly improves the rhythm and stability of the picture and creates a sense of order and rhythm.Shen Zhou boldly moved large chunks of color into the landscape painting,which greatly enhanced the tension and visual impact of the painting.Shen Zhou’s works do not simply imitate objective reality,but express his understanding and thinking of the objects depicted in a unique way based on an in-depth study of art history.Through the study of his landscape painting,it is found that the artistic language is the medium of the creator’s thought transmission,but also the important carrier of the artist’s emotion and spirit expression.Based on the collation and research of the existing landscape art works of Shen Zhou,I dig the artistic language and apply it to my own artistic creation practice.The artistic language of Shen Zhou’s landscape painting provides new ideas for my creative practice,such as symbolization,the construction of geometric forms and the design of color language.Based on the emotional expression of the true nature of Chan Son’s natural waters,the creation process takes the Tianzhu Mountain in Wuwei as the scene,and adopts the methods of on-the-spot sketching and photographing to efficiently comb the natural scenery,and select the appropriate painting materials to express,gradually break through the ancient traditional form of landscape painting,from the composition of the form,the plane of the performance of multi-dimensional performance has been enhanced.In addition,through to Shen Zhou’s entire artistic career comprehensive summary,for the author to provide a more in-depth reference.Based on the exploration and research on the artistic language of Shen Zhou Shen Zhou’s landscape painting,the author finally expresses his understanding of the artistic language of his landscape painting through his graduation works “ A windless afternoon” and “Meditation in the mountains”,to complete the practice of landscape art.
