Johannes Brahms,born in Hamburg,Germany from May 7,1833 to April 3,1897,is a very important romantic composer in the 19 th century and a pivotal representative in the history of European music development in the latter half of the 19 th century.The research object of this paper is Brahms’ s Sonata for Cello and piano in F major,which is an important work that can represent Brahms’ s creative style in his later years.Therefore,it is a mature and creative work in terms of musical structure and creative techniques,or the use of cello techniques.In this paper,from the creative background,work analysis and performance techniques of this work,combined with the author’s performance experience,make the discussion of this paper fully applied to the performance of music,hoping to provide more technical support and theoretical support for performance,make our performance more complete,in order to improve their own performance skills and music connotation.
