Chinese contemporary pop music,as an important part of Chinese popular music culture,has returned to the mainland since 1978 in the third Plenary Session of the 11 th CPC Central Committee.It has experienced many stages,such as question,face,rise and multiple development.It has rapidly risen to the most remarkable cultural scene.View.This article is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction,which describes the academic background,theoretical significance and the status of the research in the field of popular music in the mainland.The second part,taking "people’s music" as the basic window of this study,explores its historical value for the study of pop music culture in the course of the development of Chinese music culture,and mainly expounds and analyses the historical research value of "people’s music" in the course of the zigzag growth of pop music culture.People’s music,as the Journal of the Chinese Musician Association and its "commentary" features,has played an important role in the history of the collision of music thoughts,and plays an important role in the communication of literary and artistic policies,the exchange of music experts and the repercussions of the people.The pace of music theory research has promoted the discipline construction of pop music,and is an important channel for the study of pop music culture.The third part focuses on the hot issue of the revival of popular music in the mainland during the period of 1978 to 1985,and analyzes the opinion of popular music in the society at that time and the cause and result of the controversy caused by the development of the music at that time.The different views and debates on these issues are discussed.The fourth part focuses on the transformation of the popular music as a non mainstream culture in the period of 1986 to 1997,with the cultural authorities and mainstream media and the mainstream media,and the popular music as a non mainstream culture,exploring,combing and analyzing the crazy rise of pop music in80 s and 90 s twentieth Century.During this period,the popular music of both sides of the three sides of the Taiwan Strait was developing synchronously,and at this time,rock music was at its peak.After experiencing the "Cultural Revolution" and being baptized by the wave of reform and opening up,people’s insane demand for fresh culture led to a craze for popular music.The fifth part,in the new century,a series of revolutionary technology,the diversity of the media and the cultural environment of the cultural environment of popular music itself,the enrichment of the means and content of the content of popular music in the new century and the living environment of the new century,and some cultural exploration of the phenomenon.Finally,in the concluding part,it analyzes the important value and positive significance of pop music in the development of Chinese music,and puts forward its own reflection and Prospect on the research of the theory of pop music in China.
