Research On The Thought Of Common Prosperity And Its Contemporary Value In The Critique Of Gotha Program

The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "Chinese path to modernization is the modernization of common prosperity for all people.Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and it is also a long-term historical process".Although Marx’s representative work in his later years,Critique of Gotha Program did not directly address the topic of "common prosperity," it creatively proposed a two stage theory of the development of communist society in a serious criticism of Lassar’s opportunism,elaborated on the theory of the transitional period,clarified the distribution mode of the future society,discussed the role of the middle class as an ally,and defended the scientific theory of surplus value,Adhering to the theory of proletarian revolution and the theory of proletarian dictatorship,"we have established a milestone in the world that can be used by people to measure the level of the Party’s movement.".The theoretical rudiment of the scientific thought of common prosperity is gestated therein.Therefore,the in-depth excavation of the common prosperity thought in Critique of Gotha Program and the discussion of its contemporary value will help us more deeply grasp the connotation,principles and methods of achieving common prosperity,and further help "build a socialist modernization power in an all-round way,achieve the second century goal,and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization".The first chapter prosperity in Critique of Gotha Program is of great theoretical significance.It inspires us that in order to promote common prosperity,China must base on the new stage of development,promote high-quality development;continuously optimize the distribution system,improve the socialist distribution system;must take the people as the center,set "traffic light" for capital;must rely wholeheartedly on the working class,continue to adhere to the comprehensive deepening of reform,promote the realization of free and comprehensive development of people.At the same time,the idea of common prosperity also inspires all countries and people in the world who want to get rid of the development of productive forces and transcend the historical limitations of capitalism;to liberate the productive forces and eliminate the private ownership of the means of production,and to join together to actively promote the building of a community of shared future for mankind.The classical Marxist literature represented by Critique of Gotha Program has drawn up a beautiful blueprint for us to leap from the kingdom of necessity to the kingdom of freedom.
