Research On The Role And Function Of Radio Hosts For Elderly From The Perspective Of Omnimedia

The rapid development of digital technology has broadened the communication channels of traditional media and made them diversify,which has led to the transformation of audience demand and transmission-reception relationship of traditional media,and also prompted the transmutation of the host’s role awareness,communication attributes and discourse paradigm.As a radio host,only by deeply understanding the comprehensive,inclusive,fragmented and social attributes of all-media,understanding the anytime,anywhere,infinite space and time,intelligent and ubiquitous characteristics of media convergence and following these qualities,can we adapt to and create new possibilities of all-media communication.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is about the real situation of senior radio programs nowadays.However,there are problems such as unreasonable settings,weak interactivity,few on-the-ground activities and homogenization with other frequencies.On this basis,the second part analyzes the role of the host of senior radio programs,firstly,the role of the host as a listener,empathizer and leader,and after the integration of old and new media,the role of the host has changed,becoming a brand builder,global coordinator,and all-media voice disseminator.The third part provides an in-depth analysis of the functional transmutation of the host.In the presentation of their functions,they deepen the authenticity of the characters with storytelling codes,innovate the feeling of the program with several initiatives,and narrate the "content + form" together to achieve the "unmasked state".In terms of expanding its functions,it subdivides the elderly groups,plunges deeper vertically to enhance their stickiness,and transforms the communication form and mode to achieve the transformation of the transmission-receiver relationship through organic integration.The fourth part takes the graduation work "Old Friends" as an example to explore the role transformation and function expansion of senior radio program hosts in the practice of the creators.Finally,the continuous improvement of senior radio programs also confirms the conclusion of this paper: the hosts should improve the dimension of thinking and practice depth,double-wheel drive,expand the expression form of program discourse,complete the role transformation,and respond to the demands of the times in order to create a new era of senior radio programs.
