As a unique artistic language in Chinese painting,ink language has gradually formed a complete theoretical technique and cultural connotation in the process of thousands of years of development.Due to the high maturity of the expression technique,the ink language is gradually stylized and lacks innovation.In contemporary painting,the boundaries between various genres are increasingly blurred,and the use of multiple media techniques is advocated to express works.In particular,mixed material painting shifts its focus to the material language of the work and the cultural attributes behind the material.The author believes that the integration of ink language into mixed material painting can not only expand the expression of mixed material painting,but also make mixed material painting have local cultural connotation and enhance national cultural self-confidence.Taking the creation as the starting point,this paper focuses on the uniqueness of ink language in traditional Chinese painting,analyzes the expressive characteristics and spiritual connotation of ink language in traditional Chinese painting from three aspects:technical expression,expression form and aesthetic connotation,and seeks the possibility of integrating ink language and comprehensive material painting.By listing the works of Wang Huaiqing,Cai Guoqiang,Shang Yang and other artists,this paper analyzes the different presentation methods and artistic concepts of ink language in mixed material painting,and discusses the application scheme of ink language in mixed material painting.Finally,combined with the author’s exploration of ink language in the creation of comprehensive material painting,to further deepen the feasibility of ink painting language in contemporary painting.
