| The evolution of word meaning is systematic,and it has been a consensus that the evolution of word meaning in the same conceptual field has a certain tendency in common.It has always been the focus of Chinese lexical semantics to analyze and summarize meaning and study its extension and extension rule.Based on the basic cognition of semantic system,this paper selects the verbs of "塞、填、壅、杜、闭" as the research object.With the conceptual field as the background,this paper analyzes the internal structure of the meanings of the verbs in this field and the similarities and differences between the meanings.At the same time,the dynamic usage of the verbs in the Chinese historical corpus is also investigated.This paper attempts to clarify the historical development of the meaning of the Verbs of "Block",summarize the motivation and mechanism of their evolution and reveal the rules of their evolution.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction.This paper clarifies the research significance,research object,research corpus,theoretical basis and research methods,and summarizes the research results on the Verbs of "Block" and the evolution of word meaning.Part two,Chapter one.The conceptual elements of the meaning of "Block" of each member in the conceptual field of "Block" are analyzed.First of all,it explores the source of the meaning of "Block" in the members of the Verbs of "Block".Secondly,taking "conceptual field" as the background,the conceptual field of "Block" and its conceptual elements are determined.Finally,"The method of the conceptual elements analysis" is used to analyze the "Block" meaning of each member in the conceptual field.Part three,Chapter two.Comprehensively investigate the corpus of each period,and systematically describe the use of each member of the conceptual field in different periods.First of all,the typical corpus of each period is selected,and other corpus of each period is assisted to investigate and describe in detail the evolution of the five members of the verb of "Block" in the ancient,middle and modern times.Secondly,the extension of each member is sorted out,and the occurrence and use frequency of each sememe is counted to observe the change of each member’s sememe.On this basis,we observe the similarities and differences between the members of the conceptual field of "Block" in terms of semantic extension.Part four,Chapter three.This paper explores the motivation and mechanism of the evolution of the Verbs of "Block",and summarizes the rules of the evolution of their members.Based on the above description and analysis,we find that there are two cognitive mechanisms that affect the development and evolution of the the Verbs of "Block",one is metaphor,the other is metonymy.In addition,based on the analysis of the conceptual elements of each member of the Verbs of "Block",this paper summarizes the rules of its meaning evolution from the perspective of the increase and decrease of the conceptual elements,the change of the conceptual domain and so on.Meanwhile,through the analysis,it is found that the Verbs of "Block" accords with the evolution trend of Chinese vocabulary from "synthesis to analysis".The fifth part is the conclusion.It summarizes this paper and points out the innovation. |
