A Study Of Conceptual Field On The State Psychological Verbs Of The Literary Sketches Tales In Wei-jin And Six Dynasties

As an important and special classes of the verbs, psychological verbs have their own characteristics in semantics and syntax aspects.The state psychological verbs are an important constituent of the psychological verbs. As the one of the main materials,the literary sketches tales can represent the basic features of the Chinese in that time.Among the representative works in that period are Shi Shuo Xin Yu and Sou Shen Ji,which constitute important sources of the corpus of the Chinese language.This research gives a detailed analysis and description of the state psychological verbs in two novels piece within limits.The main part of this thesis is a description and analysis of common properties and differences about monosyllable of the lexical items in ten conceptual field.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction. Firstly,we give an explanation on the objects. We expound the goals of the study and the importance for the research of the Chinese lexical history. We also briefly introduce the research situation of the state psychological verbs,the theory basis,the studying method and the research approach.The second part is the study of the lexical items in the conceptual field on the state psychological verbs.We discuss the situation of ten conceptual fields as follows,joy classes,surprise classes,anger classes,sorrow classes,guilt classes,respect classes, hobby classes,fear classes and hate classes. In the same conceptual field, we analyses the common properties and differences attribute of the lexical items in the conceptual field.The third part is the concluding paragraphs. We count the lexical items and word formation in the conceptual field. Moreover,we take a specific investigation on the fear classes of state psychological verbs and try to introduce the sequence of juxtaposition and linkage constructions in the works.Finally,in terms of three parts, we sum up four features of the state psychological verbs. They have arbitrariness,dominance,character of contend and inequality of the distribution.
