| In the contemporary society with the rapid development of science and technology,the combination of Traditional Opera culture and new media forms is one of the important ways to revive its vitality,at the same time,emoji stands out in non-verbal communication and gradually become the right hand of users to convey their feelings,how to express and spread Opera characters in the form of highly creative emoticons,so as to attract more users’ attention,use and share,so as to enrich the expression form and cultural connotation of emoticons,and then spread the Traditional Opera culture subtly in the way of new media,is an important problem to be solved in the research,in which the needs and wishes of users become the key to design.The research is based on multivariate statistical factor analysis method,literature research method,inductive deduction method,shape grammar etc,to explore the combination of Opera characters and wechat emoticons.First of all,this thesis explores the necessity and feasibility of factor analysis through the theoretical overview of factor analysis,wechat emoticons and the harlequins in Henan Opera.Secondly,an empirical study is conducted on users’ willingness to use emoticons of Opera characters,by factor analysis,the design factors are summarized,the findings are as follows: 1.The use of emoticons in wechat is influenced by the role relationship and interactive topic of the interlocutor;2.The intention to use emoticons of Opera characters has multi-dimensional characteristics,namely: information,context,culture and communication,and the importance of the four dimensions shows a decreasing trend.Thirdly,taking the clown in Henan Opera as an example,the design strategy is formulated based on the empirical research results.Through analyzing the empirical results,we can see that: 1.Specific types,styles,problems and communication situations of design have clear directions;2.Design method-extraction of factors,that is,to convert the design language of the four factors obtained,information,context,culture and communication factors are extracted by refining the form,text,implication and color elements of typical images of Guan Chou,Xiao Chou,Gong Zi Chou and Wa Wa Chou in the clown categories of Henan Opera,thus,the element gene bank is constructed for subsequent design practice.Finally,on the basis of factor extraction,"Tang Xiaocheng","Xiao Huazi","Ye Xiaoshou" and "Xiao Cangwa" series emoji design and derivative design were carried out.To sum up,by introducing factor analysis method,this study transforms user’s intention into specific guidance for design practice,it added new vigor and vitality to the dissemination of Opera culture,it also provides a practical reference for the design and application of new media communication of traditional culture represented by Opera culture in the future. |
