Zhao Pei Zhi is a painter who inherits the essence of national tradition and constantly reinvents himself.His art practice provides referential experience and enlightenment for the national development of Chinese oil painting.This paper analyzes and studies the formation,development and style characteristics of painter Zhao Pei Zhi’s oil painting art,and explores the way of his painting creation to strengthen the performance in the representational realism by relying on the transformation breakthrough of his artistic creation style to "simple and simple beauty".After Zhao Pei Zhi went to Beijing,the main figures in his works were Tajik people,and his painting expression was more subjective.In the picture,it is expected to remove the specific creation background and story plot,no longer the objective representation,the pursuit of "deformation" performance,more attention to the performance of the character’s state and mental emotions,more refined modeling,to show their understanding of human nature,to convey the "simple beauty".The first part of this article introduces the growth experience of Zhao Pei Zhi’s early art career.In 2009,he won the gold medal of the 11 th National Art Exhibition,which established his important position in the Chinese painting circle.Zhao Pei Zhi went to Beijing in 2011.After that,he created works based on Tajik figures,and gradually changed his style to "simple beauty".The second part discusses the artistic characteristics of Zhao Pei Zhi’s creation,mainly from the subject matter,color,modeling and other aspects of analysis,expounds that the source of "simple beauty" in Zhao Pei Zhi’s works and the learning of Chinese traditional painting since childhood also has an inseparable relationship;The third part mainly expounds Zhao Pei Zhi’s inheritance of traditional Chinese painting,and the formation process of "simple beauty" into his artistic concept and artistic style.During his continuous exploration of traditional Chinese painting,he injected his own personality,cultivation and unique aesthetic feeling into the artistic images he created,thus forming his own unique artistic style--"Simple beauty".He perfectly combined this unique aesthetic feeling with the spirit of The Times,and showed his understanding of human nature through painting based on the Tajik figures.The fourth part,from the perspective of the author’s creation,discusses the inspiration of Zhao Pei Zhi’s artistic creation.In the process of his creation,Zhao Pei Zhi would re-present the image of the objective object on the canvas in the way of "deformation",forming his "classic formula" for beauty and conveying "simple beauty".
