| This article takes the Warring States period pottery ritual tombs in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan as the research object.Based on the evolution of the shape of the artifacts,a typological analysis is conducted on the typical pottery ritual vessels buried with them,in order to classify them by stages.By using multiple statistical methods,the hierarchical order of pottery ritual tombs in the Warring States period in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan was constructed,and the hierarchical structure of pottery ritual tombs was analyzed based on this.Finally,by comparing the cultural features of pottery and ritual tombs in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan,we aim to explore the changes in the two regions after the relocation of the capital of Wei.The paper is divided into five partsPart 1 IntroductionThis article defines the temporal and spatial framework of the research,summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of previous studies,and conducts a statistical analysis of over 200 pottery and ritual tombs distributed in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan during the Warring States period.Part 2 Tomb form,burial style,burial equipment,and placement of accompanying itemsA summary was made on the tomb shape,burial style,burial equipment,and placement of burial items of the Warring States pottery ritual vessels in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan.Part 3 Staging and ChronologyA typological analysis is conducted on typical pottery ritual vessels unearthed from tombs in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan,clarifying the development and evolution of various artifacts.Based on this,the tombs are divided into three periods,namely the early,middle,and late Warring States period.Part 4 Classification and hierarchical structure of tombsBy conducting correlation coefficient analysis on fully preserved pottery sacrificial vessel tombs,it is clear to use the combination form of utensils to classify the level of pottery sacrificial vessel tombs.The pottery ritual vessel tombs are divided into six categories based on the combination of artifacts.By analyzing the six categories of tombs,the tombs are divided into three levels: high,medium,and low,and the hierarchical structure of each level of tomb is analyzed.Part 5 Comparison of pottery and ritual tombs in southern Shanxi and northern HenanBy comparing the cultural features of pottery sacrificial vessels and tombs in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan,we discuss their similarities and differences during the Warring States period,especially the changes before and after the relocation of the capital of Wei State.In addition,based on the previous hierarchical division,the overview of different levels of tombs in the southern and northern regions of Shanxi and Henan was discussed.Part 6 SummarySummarize the research viewpoints of the article and propose the existing shortcomings. |
