| Amedeo Modigliani was an Italian modern artist in the early 20 th century.His paintings are a hybrid product of classical painting and modern art,combining elements of classical painting and modern art,combining the paradigm of the Italian Renaissance with the geometric schemata of modern art.His artistic practice has great guiding significance in resolving the conflict between classical painting and modern art.Known for capturing the beauty of humanity and the silence of life,his paintings,with their clean lines,simplified and flat shapes,built a bridge between classical and modern Italian art and entered the history of art in this way.This paper aims to analyze Modigliani’s artistic experience,study Modigliani’s painting style and explain the formal language of Modigliani’s painting through literature research,style analysis,case study,comparative analysis,historical research and other research methods.Through the study and induction of Modigliani’s different themes,Modigliani’s vacancy in landscape themes is completed.This paper analyzes the influence of Cezanne’s modern art language,classical art paradigm,African wood carving art and Modigliani’s sculpture works on Modigliani’s painting from multiple perspectives,and tries to fully elaborate the formal language of Modigliani’s painting.Finally,by studying Modigliani’s paintings and their artistic context,the author obtains inspiration from them.Aiming at the popular theme of opera figures,the author uses artistic techniques that he perceived-from Modigliani’s paintings to create works,trying to break out of the realistic technique of opera subject matter and deduce a new perspective of opera subject matter from the anti-natural technique.The innovation of this paper lies in the detailed style analysis of different themes of Modigliani’s paintings in a certain logical order.By introducing the analysis of Modigliani’s sculpture works and the comparison of his paintings,the limitations of exploring Modigliani’s paintings are changed.In addition,a new interpretation of the gaze of figures in Modigliani’s paintings is made.Then explore Modigliani’s paintings contained in the expression of artistic conception. |
