Research On Female Modelling And Creative Practice In Modigliani's Oil Painting

At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century,great turbulence took place in the Western painting world.Paris School,Fauvism,Cubism and other emerging schools have all come to the stage of history.These artists broke the tradition and gradually formed a new situation in modern painting.Is one of them.Modigliani paid attention to the character modeling itself,created a unique modeling order,and constituted a typical female portrait.As a representative of the Paris School of Painting,his artistic style is not achieved overnight,but the form of drawing pictures from various arts.His contribution to the Paris School of Painting is to transform his respect for the art of the past into the formal force in the picture,and integrate it with the concept of modern art into his creation.This article first takes the female shape in Modigliani's oil painting as an entry point,sums up the shape feature of "deformation" from it,and analyzes in detail the three deforming techniques used by Modigliani:simplified deformation of shape;face Extrusion,twisting,reorganization;elongated body.Secondly,from the perspective of aesthetics and emotions,the visual aesthetic meaning and emotional manifestation of the deformed shape are analyzed.The transformed rhythm of the styling is enhanced,and the "melancholy"emotion is reflected in it.The fusion of form and emotion makes the styling more perfect and unified.Finally,in the creative practice,the author uses the three transformation methods summarized above to analyze,and analyzes the influence of subjective and objective factors such as the scale of deformation,the angle and method of subject observation,and the posture of the model on the shape deformation effect.The main purpose of this article is to improve and solve the modeling problems that appear in the picture through creative practice based on the study and learning of Modigliani's character modeling,in order to enhance the author's creative level,and hope to be able to Scholars who study the deformation of modeling in the future will provide some references.
