Regarding female tragedies,previous research has yielded fruitful results,mostly focusing on literary and film works,while there has been relatively little research on theatrical works.Most scholars have mainly intervened from the perspectives of feminist theory and social ethics to conduct in-depth research on the female image in female tragedies and explore the aesthetic significance of female tragedies.However,few scholars have intervened from the patriarchal system and based themselves on tragedy theory,Conducting in-depth research on the creation of female tragedies has left room for research in this article.This article takes the original drama Ding Caiying as an example,using Aristotle and Hegel’s tragedy theory as the theoretical foundation,and using text reading method,examines the female tragedy under the patriarchal system from three aspects:tragic characters,conflict plots,and social and family influencing factors.At the same time,it compares the drama with the female tragedy creation since the May Fourth Movement,and delves into the creative strategies of female tragedies in the new era,Provide more ideas for the creation of female tragedies.The paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter analyzes the main tragic characters in Ding Caiying based on the character elements in Aristotle’s tragic theory,analyzes the invisible female,male in power,and victim images under the patriarchal system,and compares them with the main characters in other female tragic dramas;The second chapter,based on Hegel’s tragic conflict theory,analyzes the tragic plot in Ding Caiying from three aspects:the conflict of marital relationship,the conflict of intergenerational thought and the conflict caused by self contradiction;Chapter Three explores the tragic causes of the characters in Ding Caiying from both family and social factors,pointing out that female tragedy originates from the dual oppression of patriarchal society and the family;The fourth chapter is based on the creation of Ding Caiying,provides a deep reflection on the creation of female tragedies and summarizes the creative philosophy of female tragedies in the new era-to avoid homogenization of creation,shape tragic characters with flesh and blood,and closely follow the theme of the times,paying attention to the survival situation of vulnerable groups from a humanistic perspective.
