| with the introduction of the "Ten new Measures" for epidemic prevention and control, the tourism industry has gradually entered the recovery stage.People’s growing need for a better life is reflected in the yearning for tourism, the growth of diversified tourism demand, tourism is full of vitality. The protection and development of traditional villages is a major measure to promote the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, which helps to solve the problem of "three rural areas and farmers" and provides environmental and other support for the development of rural tourism. In order to protect and give full play to the irreplaceable role of traditional villages in the development of rural tourism, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments established a list of traditional villages based on the review of the Expert Committee on the protection and development of traditional villages. The study of traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin will help to further implement the protection and development of traditional village tourism and improve the scientific research system of rural tourism. The study on the spatial differentiation of traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin and its influencing factors has important reference significance for the development of rural tourism in the Yellow River basin, and also will play a role in promoting the construction and development of rural tourism industry in other river basins.By studying and analyzing the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin, this paper can also provide reference for the development of tourism in the Grand Canal basin,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region or economically underdeveloped regions.Promoting the protection and development of traditional villages is a key supporting force for China’s rural tourism and culture industry. In order to explore the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin,1,555 different batches of national-level traditional villages in nine provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities along the Yellow River Basin were selected as research objects. With the help of Baidu map pick up coordinate system,Arc GIS and other tools,GIS spatial analysis techniques such as nearest neighbor index, geographical concentration index and disequilibrium index are used to analyze the spatial distribution forms, rules and equilibrium degree of traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin. In the analysis of factors affecting the distribution of traditional villages,Arc GIS and Geo-detector,supplement by literature analysis, are mainly used. The results are shown as follows:(1)From the perspective of spatial distribution characteristics, traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin shows a spatial cohesion trend, with uneven inter-provincial distribution and large quantity gap in each province. From the perspective of distribution structure, the distribution of traditional villages in the nine provinces of the Yellow River Basin consists of three clusters, with a small cluster in North China dominated by Shanxi and Henan, southwest China dominated by Sichuan,Northwest China dominated by Qinghai, and central China dominated by Shandong. The distribution density is characterized by one high density area and three secondary high density areas, and the overall feature is "dense in the southeast and sparse in the northwest",with obvious differences.(2)Factors affected the spatial distribution of traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin: physical geography, economy, society, and culture jointly affected the spatial differentiation of traditional villages in the study area, but the explanatory power of each factor is different. The density of river network, per capita GDP and transportation conditions have a great impact on the distribution of traditional villages. At the same time, affected by the difference of economic level, traditional villages have been well protected and developed in economically developed areas.Traffic accessibility directly affects the retention of villages, and low traffic accessibility can mitigate the damage to traditional villages to a certain extent. In addition, cultural deposits and policy guidance also directly have affected the planning and development of village tourism resources.(3)Through sorting out the difficulties faced by the protection and development of traditional villages in the Yellow River Basin, and in order to promote the high-quality development of the nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin, this paper puts forward the following suggestions: strengthen the construction of infrastructure and protect village buildings;Improve public participation, dig Yellow River culture, create Yellow River cultural IP,inherit excellent cultural resources;Strengthen inter-provincial linkage and share resources;Increase the investment of government funds, policies and other aspects to help the development of traditional village tourism. |
