Beethoven’s Piano Sonata in c Minor,Op.10 No.1,also known as Piano Sonata No.5,is one of his earliest use of c minor,and the first use of three movements and the three movements are created for the sonata form structure,is one of the representative works of his piano sonata.The work is concise and exquisite in conception,and the melody is smooth and free.It is an example of the combination of heroic and dramatic music style of young Beethoven.This paper takes "Piano Sonata in c Minor" Op.10 No.1 as the research object,and studies the music and playing skills of this piece as the main content.Using literature research method,comparative research method and musical example analysis method as research methods,and taking music analysis as the entry point,the paper makes in-depth research from the three aspects of musical structure,musical characteristics and musical style: 1.This piece is sonata form with false representation and no development.2.The harmony is rich and varied in color,intricate in tone layout,significant in contrast between strong and weak,and runs through the whole piece at a stable speed and rhythm,forming the musical characteristics of the work;3.Continuation of the characteristics of classical music and integration of heroic and dramatic musical styles.At the same time,using the musical example analysis method and the performance practice method as the research means,with the analysis of playing skills as the breakthrough point for a comprehensive analysis,summed up: fast continuous dotted rhythm,fast running triplet,grace note,left and right hand irregular rhythm counterpoint,the homophonic major and minor scale fast running and pedal application and other playing rules.
