Research On The Shaping Of Character Image In Female Documentaries

People’s living state and living concept were different.Through its recording and revealing function,the documentary showed the real and different characters and lives.With the development of technology and society,the content and form of the documentary became more and more rich.The character was the eternal main body of the documentary,and it was an eternal category in the history of its development.The image of the characters in the documentary had artistic and social value,which was of great importance to the creation of the documentary.As the concept of female chauvinism,female consciousness and gender equality were deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,they paid more and more attention to the survival of the female group in the media,and the female thoughts had already been integrated into the creation of the documentary.The female theme of the documentary came into being,and gradually put aside the traditional image building method of women,and no longer used the same perspective of the selection of the female group at the edge,It broke the stereotype of a tragic woman and showed a more real,rich and three-dimensional image of a woman.The graduation work,"Old Trees Put Forth New Buds",recorded a middle-aged woman who was more than fifty years old,restored her real work and life state,and told her the starting story.This article started with the concept of female consciousness and character creation,and deeply dug out the way to build the female image in such kind of movies.Combined with the early shooting and later production process of the personal graduation work "Old Trees Put Forth New Buds",it began to study the image of women in the new media era’s documentary,She hoped to provide some reference for the creation and study of the same type of documentary in the future.The thesis was divided into five parts.The first part was the introduction,current situation and methods of the research.The second part was the definition of relevant concepts and the theoretical foundation,explaining the concept of female theme as a type of documentary,Female Chauvinism and female consciousness.The third part was about the appearance of the female image in the new era of Chinese women’s documentary.Through the introduction of the development of Chinese women’s documentary,the flat tendency of the female image was analyzed.The fourth part was to analyze how to use storytelling,audio and visual language,and multi role participation to enrich the image of the characters in the documentary,with the help of "Old Trees Put Forth New Buds".The fifth part summarized and reflected with the two stages of pre filming and post production of the graduation work,and analyzed the shortcomings and shortcomings of the work to be improved.
