Research On The Creation Strategy Of Oral Documentary On Intangible Cultural Heritage

Documentary has been based on real records since its birth.In recent years,there have been a lot of innovations in the creation of domestic documentaries.It is a new breakthrough to introduce the creative techniques and ideas of foreign creators and combine oral history with documentary creation.The combination of oral history and documentary can ensure the presentation of the oral narrative content to the maximum extent,but the birth of oral documentary with non-legacy theme makes the audience no longer just pay attention to the intangible cultural heritage skills passed down.By collecting the inheritors’ life history,cultural memory and technical knowledge,they tell and record the inheritance history,skills and ecological environment of folk artists in the form of images,so that these memories accumulated over the years may play their significance and value.The combination of documentary and dictation makes the "non-legacy" culture and digital images merge with each other,and undertakes the historical task of documentary inheriting the excellent national culture and carrying forward the national spirit.Guided by the operation method of oral history and combined with the creation of non-legacy documentaries,this thesis studies the creation strategy of oral documentaries with non-legacy themes,mainly using three research methods: document analysis,symbol analysis and in-depth interview,and builds a strategic framework for this kind of documentary creation in a new form,and makes in-depth theoretical exploration and practice.Firstly,the introduction introduces the background and significance of this study,sorts out the relevant research status,and expounds the main research contents and methods of this thesis;Secondly,it defines the key concepts involved in the thesis and expounds the theoretical basis of the thesis,including oral history methodology and semiotics theory of film and television structuralism,which lays the foundation for further research.Thirdly,it expounds and summarizes the creative thinking of the graduation work "Oral Melody",which proves the feasibility of this thinking;Fourthly,explore the text narrative strategies of oral documentaries with intangible themes,including the main structure and narrative methods of such documentaries,and combine semiotic analysis methods to create and analyze documentary narratives from a macro perspective;Fifthly,explore the image expression strategy of oral documentary about non-legacy theme,and explore the content construction and symbol expression of oral documentary about non-legacy theme from the micro level.Finally,it is mainly a summary of this study,reflecting on its experience and shortcomings,testing the theoretical feasibility of this thesis in the combination of argumentation theory and practice,and then making a prospect for the creation and research of oral documentaries with non-legacy themes.
