History And Memory: A Study On The Oral History Of Wuhan Acrobatic Inheritors

With a long history,huge system and rich connotation,Wuhan Acrobatics is one of the well-developed intangible cultural heritages in China.In 2014,Wuhan Acrobatics was selected as a national intangible cultural heritage,which is an affirmation of the artistic value of Wuhan acrobatics.As an important part of Jingchu culture,there are few researches on Wuhan acrobatics theory at present,and there is no special history or general history record in the existing literature.Therefore,this study attempts to understand the memory of Wuhan acrobatics through oral history interview with the inheritors of Wuhan acrobatics,hoping that Yi can make a beneficial supplement to the existing literature and materials of Wuhan acrobatics.It can also provide new research ideas and methods for other scholars in the study of intangible cultural heritage.Oral history is considered to be the text of collective memory,the contents of which are accompanied by recollections corresponding to historical developments,as well as individual emotions and attitudes of identification.Based on the oral history of Wuhan acrobatic inheritors,this study puts forward two main lines of integration logic: one is to summarize the theme from individual memory to collective memory;the other is to explore the development history of Wuhan acrobatic inheritance and the text content memorized by the inheritors.Research conclusions:(1)The oral history of Wuhan Acrobatics is based on the memory narration of the inheritors,emphasizing the recall and understanding of historical events from a personal perspective.By analyzing,identifying and sorting out the collected oral memory texts,many neglected events have been discovered.(2)Reviewing the history of Wuhan acrobatics,we can see the development of Wuhan acrobatics: the development of Wuhan acrobatics has gone through five stages: the embryonic stage,the founding period,the depression period caused by the Cultural Revolution,the vigorous development stage and the mature stage.(3)The collective historical review of Wuhan acrobatic inheritors generates the memory of Wuhan acrobatic manifestations,inheritance memory and cross-cultural communication memory of Wuhan acrobatic inheritors.(4)Based on the experience and thinking of the development practice of Wuhan acrobatics,it is proposed to keep in mind the original mission,firm ideals and beliefs,actively support the inheritance and development of talents and teams in Wuhan acrobatics,strengthen the protection of the cultural resources of Wuhan acrobatics,and establish the network database of Wuhan acrobatics.
