Research On Image Construction Of Social Memory In Humanistic Social Documentary

Humanistic and social documentary mainly refers to the documentary type that reflects the living conditions of ordinary people and has strong social significance and humanistic value under the influence of the creation concept of "new documentary movement".Humanistic social documentary is an important media carrier to carry and construct social memory.It connects individual life story and common social memory through vivid image narration.In this paper,the graduation work "The Passing Shadow of the Streamer" and other typical humanistic and social documentaries are taken as the case study,and the image construction of social memory in humanistic and social documentaries is analyzed and discussed.The main part of this paper is as follows: The first part aims to sort out the relevant theoretical concepts of humanistic social documentary and social memory,and then demonstrates the attributes of social memory of humanistic social documentary.The second part discusses in detail the four dimensions of social memory in the humanistic social documentary: characters,stories,places and objects.The third part focuses on the image construction strategy of social memory in humanistic social documentary,mainly from the two aspects of narrative clues and audio-visual style.The fourth part mainly discusses the value and significance of social memory construction in humanistic social documentary.
