| Seed maturity at harvest is critical for commom bean production,as the bottom-to-top ripening habit often leads to uneven maturity within and among commom bean plants. To promote uniform seed maturity, improve brassica harvesting efficiency and reduce losses, herbicides can be used to dry legumes. The purpose of this study was to screen and evaluate the indicators of six herbicides in the experiment, and to screen out the best application agent, application concentration and application time in order to provide ideas and methods to solve the harvesting problems caused by uneven seed maturity in commom bean production in northeast China and to facilitate the development of commom bean mechanized production. In this study,’Long Yun 14’was used as the test material, and glyphosate, glufosinate, carfentrazone, diquat, saflufenacil and flumioxazin herbicides were applied at the T1(25%pod discoloration),T2(50%pod discoloration),T3(75%pod discoloration)and T4(100%pod discoloration)periods.1.Pre-harvest application of herbicides to kidney bean can effectively reduce the water content of kidney bean seeds, but the drying effect of different application periods on various parts of kidney bean plants varied, with the majority of pod skins drying out around the T3 period and the water content of stalks significantly lower than the control, and the water content of seeds decreasing, with diquat, carfentrazone and flumioxazin herbicides having significant effects on the dehydration of pod skins, stalks and seeds at the T3 period.2.The drying effect of different application concentrations of the same agents on various parts of the commom bean plant is not the same, and its overall performance is that the drying and dehydration effect of high-dose agents is better than that of low-dose agents, and herbicides such as glyphosate, glufosinate, carfentrazone, diquat, saflufenacil and flumioxazin will reduce the water content of commom bean seeds and pod skins.3.The effect of different application periods on yield and yield components of brassica bean varied in degree. The number of pods per plant, number of grains per plant,100-grain weight per plant and yield were significantly lower in T1 and T2 periods compared with the control;the differences in yield and yield components of saflufenacil and flumioxazin were not significant in T3 and T4 periods compared with the control.4.The effects of different application concentrations of different herbicides on yield and yield components of commom beans were the same, and their overall performance was lower for low-dose agents than for high-dose agents.5.The effects of different herbicides on the germination and protein content of commom bean seeds were different.Glyphosate, glufosinate, carfentrazone, diquat, saflufenacil and flumioxazin no significant effects on the germination rate, germination index and protein content of commom bean. The comprehensive analysis concluded that, although the lowest water content was found in all parts of commom bean at the harvesting period in each treatment in T1 and T2 periods, and the combined dewatering effect of saflufenacil, diquat, carfentrazone and flumioxazin was the best, and the higher the concentration, the higher the dewatering effect, but considering its influence on yield and yield constitutive factors, flumioxazin should be used in the T3 period of commom bean,i.e.,the middle and late stage of seed maturity, and its concentration of 47.6 g The best drying effect was achieved at a concentration of 47.6 g·hm-2,which is a touch herbicide with obvious defoliation and dehydration effects, significant and rapid action and low impact on yield. |
