| Alfalfa was high quality forage of perennial legume. Nutritional quality and palatability of alfalfa were better. Alfalfa was called King of pasture. Alfalfa hay was believed the best forage to feeding livestock and had important impact for developing animal husbandry. Through spraying TC, KS, KC, TS, CY, SY, WY, KW, TW, TCY, KSY, KCY, TSY, TWY, KWY on alfalfa, the drying speed of alfalfa, quality and degradability effect of alfalfa hay were measured. This experiment made the research of different desiccant treatments on drying effect of alfalfa for improving drying speed, degradability and reducing loss nutrient substance of alfalfa by the AHP on the General evaluation of the three indicators. Result showed below:Drying speed: CY and WY treatments improved drying speed of alfalfa in different desiccant treatments. Drying times were 24 h.Nutrient quality: In all treatments, the CP content of TC and KWY treatments were the highest (22.45%); The NDF content of CK was the highest (39.52%); The ADF content of TSY and KSY treatments were the highest (31.36%); The GE content of CY treatment was the highest (17 661.0 J/g). It all achieved level of very significance.Degradability effect: The gas production of KWY treatment was the highest (54.75 ml); Next treatments were TWY and CY. The gas production of TCY treatment was the lowest in vitro 72 h (40.5 ml); Next treatment was CK. The degradability of TSY treatment was the highest (60.13%); TW treatment was the lowest (28.34%) in all treatments; The NH3-N content of CK was the highest (23.48 mmol/l), CY treatment was the lowest (12.41 mmol/l).It all achieved level of very significance.VFA: The acetic acid of KS treatment was the highest (2 082.4μg/ml), CK treatment was the lowest (1 108.04μg/ml); The prop-ionic acid of KC treatment was the highest (571.12μg/ml), TW treatment was the lowest in all treatments (247.97μg/ml); The butyric acid of KS treatment was the highest(92.02μg/ml), TW and KW treatments were the lowest in all treatments (15.99μg/ml), It all achieved level of very significance.General evaluation: Result of general evaluation to drying speed, nutrient quality and degradability effect index were treatments TC=KS > treatment TCY > treatment WY > treatment KC > treatment CY > treatment TS > treatment TWY > treatment SY > treatment KWY > treatment KSY > treatments KW = KCY > treatment TSY > treatment TW > CK. It showed drying effect of all treatments were better than control. Drying effect of TC and KS treatments were the best among all treatments. Drying effect of CK was the worst. |
