Clinical Study On Eye Acupuncture Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Non-proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy Of Yin Deficiency And Stasis Typ

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of NPDR by observing and comparing the visual acuity,fundus signs and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment of non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR)of Yin deficiency mixed blood stasis.Discuss and provide ideas for clinical treatment and research.Materials and Methods:A total of 65 patients with NPDR of Yin deficiency mixed blood stasis type were selected from January 1,2021 to January 1,2022,who were admitted to the ophthalmology clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.,if the disease occurs in one eye,the affected eye is selected into the group;if the disease occurs in both eyes,the right eye is selected into the group.The randomization method was used,and the patients were numbered using random numbers,and the even numbers were included in the treatment group and the odd numbers were included in the control group.The control group was given Mingmu Dihuang Decoction.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group was additionally treated with eye acupuncture.The above treatment is 10 days as a course of treatment,which lasts for 3 courses.The patients’ best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),fundus score and TCM syndrome score were selected as observation indicators.The results before and after treatment were recorded and analyzed statistically.In this study,SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,and to discuss the differences between the two treatment methods.Result:1 The BCVA of the two groups after treatment was significantly improved(P<0.01),and the visual acuity of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).2 The fundus signs of both groups were improved after treatment,and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).3 The difference of TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before and after treatment was significant(P<0.01),indicating that both groups could improve TCM syndromes,and the therapeutic effect in the treatment group was stronger than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1 Eye acupuncture combined with Mingmu Dihuang Decoction can improve vision,fundus signs and TCM syndromes.2 Compared with simple oral traditional Chinese medicine,the addition of eye acupuncture can play a synergistic role in improving vision,fundus lesions and TCM syndromes.
