Objective:The main purpose of this study was to investigate the quantitative and non quantitative fundus features of patients with non proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR).Methods:This study selected 121 patients with NPDR who visited the Hospital Department of Endocrinology from April 2016 to February 2017,according to blood stasis syndrome scores of the patients were divided into non blood stasis type, mild blood stasis resistance type and severe blood stasis resistance type. Then record the general data of patients, syndrome information, characteristics of fundus lesions obtained by fundus image analysis software which including the three features like microaneurysms(according to the degree of number),hard exudates(area),hemorrhage(area),in which the number of microvascular tumors were graded according to the degree of number. The pixel area of hard exudates and hemorrhage was extracted through the software.Statistical software was used to analyze the differences among the groups. Results:?There were 43 patients with no blood stasis,48 patients with mild blood stasis,30 patients with severe blood stasis of the 121 patients with NPDR..?Comparison of the general data, clinical indicators and ophthalmic index among the three groups:HbAlc has statistical significance among the groups(P<0.05),and what the results were severe blood stasis group higher than mild blood stasis group hi gher than non blood stasis group compared the HbAlc levels among the groups.Ther e were no statistical significance in age, height, weight,BMI,blood pressure, durationof DM,duration of DR,liver function and kidney function, visual acuity, intraocular pressure(IOP)and OCT(P>0.05).Then the patients were divided into non blood stas is group and blood stasis group, regression analysis was carried out on age,BMI,SB P,DBP,FPG,HbAlc,DM,DPN,DN,duration of hypertension, there were statistically significant in age,HbAlc,DPN(P<0.05,OR>1),the remaining had no statistical sign ificance(P>0.05).?Comparison the hemangioma, exudation area, bleeding area between the groups:microangioma number degrees, leakage area, bleeding area had significant differenceamong the groups(P<0.05),and all are severe blood stasis group greater than mi Id blood stasis group than non blood stasis group. For the leakage area and bleeding area, there are statistical significance between non blood stasis group and severe blood stasis group, non blood stasis group and mild statistical of severe blood stasis group(P<0.05);but no difference between non blood stasis group and mild blood stasis gro up(P>0.05).Conclusion:?Increased age and elevated blood glucose is an important risk factor for the formation and development of DR,glycosylated hemoglobin levels may reflect the severity of diabetic retinopathy.?The type of DM complications, the number of microvessels, the size of the bleeding area may be used as a reference when used TCM syndrome differentiation treatment in DR.?It is suggested that the occurrence and development of DR is closely related to blood stasis,in the dialectical therapy time, must pay attention to blood stasis, and in the early stage add some products which can activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis with different syndromes, that may prevention and delay the occurrence and development of diabetic retinopathy in a certain extent.
