Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Qiju Dihuang Decoction Combined With Chinese Medicine Fumigation In The Treatment Of Dry Eyes With Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency After Cataract Surger

Objective :To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Qiju Dihuang Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on patients with dry eye caused by liver and kidney Yin deficiency after cataract surgery,and to provide a basis for traditional Chinese medicine to treat dry eye caused by liver and kidney Yin deficiency after cataract surgery,and to enrich the application of traditional Chinese medicine in clinical ophthalmology.Methods : One month after cataract surgery,60 patients(60 eyes)who met the diagnostic criteria of dry eye of western medicine and dry eye of Yin deficiency of liver and kidney of traditional Chinese medicine were randomly divided into three groups: Chinese medicine group,Chinese medicine + fumigation group and control group,20 cases(20eyes)in each group.The control group was treated with topical sodium hyaluronate eye drops,the Chinese medicine group was treated with oral Qijudihuang decoction on the basis of the control group,and the Chinese medicine + fumigation group was treated with Chinese medicine fumigation on the basis of the Chinese medicine group.Before and after treatment,the dry eye analyzer was used to detect the BUT,tear film lipid layer thickness grade and meibomian gland score,and the SIT,OSDI scores and TCM syndrome scores of each group were recorded.SPSS27.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results : 1.There were significant differences in SIT,BUT,tear film lipid layer thickness grade,OSDI and TCM syndrome scores among the three groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in meibomian gland score(P > 0.05).2.After treatment,there were significant differences in SIT,BUT,tear film lipid layer thickness grade,OSDI and TCM syndrome score among the three groups(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in meibomian gland score among the three groups(P > 0.05).3.After treatment,there were significant differences in SIT,BUT,OSDI and TCM syndrome score between TCM + fumigation group and TCM group,TCM + fumigation group and control group,and TCM group and control group(P < 0.05).The difference of tear film lipid layer thickness between TCM + fumigation group and control group,TCM +fumigation group and TCM group was statistically significant(P <0.05),but there was no significant difference between TCM group and control group(P > 0.05).4.The clinical effective rate was 94.7% in TCM + fumigation group,90% in TCM group and 75% in control group.Conclusion : 1.Qijudihuang decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can effectively relieve the subjective symptoms of dry eye patients with liver and kidney Yin deficiency after cataract surgery,increase the amount of tear secretion,prolong the tear film break-up time,and increase the thickness of tear film lipid layer.2.The efficacy of Qijudihuang decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of dry eye with Yin deficiency of liver and kidney after cataract surgery is better than that of artificial tears alone and oral Chinese medicine.
