Purpose:The random open-label control method was used to observe the effect of Huatan Tongluo Formula on the serum midbrain and intestinal peptide level of patients with wind-phlegm obstructing collaterals syndrome in the meridian recovery stage of stroke.To explore the possible mechanism of its treatment of wind-phlegm blocking collateral syndrome in meridian recovery period of stroke,and provide scientific theoretical basis for clinical application.Material and method:The case sources of this study are 72 patients(39 males and 33females)with wind-phlegm blocking collateral syndrome in the recovery period of meridian after stroke.By random number table,36 cases were divided into observation group and control group.The observation group was given basic treatment(aspirin enteric-coated tablets,100 mg once a night)plus Huatan Tongluo recipe(granules,one and a half doses,twice a day,taken with boiling water after breakfast and dinner),while the control group was given only basic treatment(aspirin enteric-coated tablets,100 mg once a night),with a course of 4weeks.After treatment,the serum levels of brain-gut peptide in the two groups were compared,including 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),γ-aminobutyric acid(γ-GABA),Glutamic acid(Glu),Motilin(MTL)and cholecystokinin octapeptide(CCK-8).and to explore the effect of Huatan Tongluo recipe on the serum brain-gut peptide level of patients with wind-phlegm obstruction syndrome in the meridian recovery period of stroke.The effect of Huatan Tongluo recipe on serum brain-gut peptide level of patients with wind-phlegm blocking collaterals syndrome in the meridian recovery period of apoplexy was discussed.Results:Of the subjects included in this study,6 cases fell off in the observation group and6 cases in the control group,and finally 60 patients were included,including 30 cases in the observation group(16 males and 14 females)and 30 cases in the control group(19 males and11 females).The results are as follows:1.The sex,age and past disease history of the two groups were all compared(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Serum levels of 5-HT,γ-GABA,Glu,CCK-8 and MTL:Before treatment:the levels of serum 5-HT,γ-GABA,Glu,CCK-8 and MTL in the observation group were not significantly different from those in the control group(all P >0.05).After treatment:(1)The serum levels of 5-HT,γ-GABA and MTL in the observation group were higher than those before treatment,with statistical differences(P < 0.05).The level of serum 5-HT in the control group was higher than that before treatment,with statistical difference(P<0.05),and the levels of serum γ-GABA and MTL were higher than that before treatment,with no statistical difference(P > 0.05).Compared with the control group,the serum levels of 5-HT,γ-GABA and MTL in the observation group increased more obviously,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).(2)The levels of serum Glu and CCK-8 in the observation group were lower than those before treatment,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).In the control group,the serum CCK-8level was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the serum Glu level was significantly lower than that before treatment(P > 0.05).Compared with the control group,the levels of serum Glu and CCK-8 in the observation group decreased more obviously,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Both Huatan Tongluo recipe can affect the serum levels of brain-gut peptide 5-HT,γ-GABA,Glu,MTL and CCK-8.2.The therapeutic mechanism of Huatan Tongluo recipe may be related to regulating the secretion of neurotransmitters and gastric acid,increasing the cytoprotection of amino acids and reducing the toxicity of excitatory amino acids.
