| As a real historical figure,Zheng Chenggong, who was active in the sea areas of East Asia and even the world, was highly concerned by Japan literary creators for his unique identity of Sino-Japanese mixed race.He is a connecting point of history and culture between China and Japan. He has made great contributions to the exchanges and integration between the two countries. This paper selects the Japan contemporary historical novels after World War Ⅱ in the text, mainly uses the image theory of Comparative Literature and the close reading in the method, combines the neo-historicism and cosmopolitanism to analyze the cultural implication of Zheng Chenggong’s image.Based on China’s cultural context, this paper highlights the study of China’s image in the eyes of Japan writers, and excavates the academic significance of the "Zheng Chenggong literature" domain of SinoJapanese Comparative Literature. The first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the background, methodology, innovation, and significance and value of the thesis writing. The second chapter focuses on Ryotaro Shiba’s Da Dao Zen Master-Zheng Chenggong Anti-Qing Dynasty. As a typical case, this paper makes a close reading of the texts and takes the image theory as the main tool to study the "image of Zheng Chenggong." Be different with Chinese authors,Ryotaro Shiba portrays Zheng Chenggong’s image as a Confucian general and a doer, endows him with the excellent qualities of civil and military duality,long-term vision and rapid action. However,"Ryotaro Shiba’s historical view" and the biased "Taiwan historical view" need to attract the attention of the follow-up researchers. The third chapter studies Chen Shunchen’s novel Feng Yun-er Zheng Chenggong. The most distinctive feature of the novel is that the author Chen Shunchen described the hero’s dilemma, creates a hero with shortcomings, and attributed the failure to Zheng Chenggong’s Japanese character of indulging in Japan spirit. The most prominent feature of this novel is that it breaks the grand narrative of heroes in previous works, not only highlights the lofty greatness of heroes, but also describes the private confusion of heroes as human beings.Chen Shunchen’s image has modern color, reflecting objective,China and Japanese cultural peace communication attributes.Through these two novels,we can find that Ryotaro Shiba, who is called "the first person Japan historical novels," and Chen Shunchen, who is called "the first person China historical novels," have both similarities and characteristics in the creation of novels, and they have played an exemplary role and profound influence on the development of Chinese themes in Japanese historical novels. The forth chapter argues the different causes of Zheng Chenggong’s image from the perspective of cosmopolitanism in Japan contemporary historical novels. This chapter attempts to answer the causes of the image of Zheng Chenggong in literature from the cultural and ideological levels in the context of the world and from a comparative perspective."Zheng Chenggong study" is also an important part of the study of "Orientalism." It introduces the concepts of International Relations such as "Leaving Asia and Entering Europe,""Promoting Asia and Resisting Europe,""The Belt and Road Initiative" and "Maritime Silk Road," and discusses the generation and evolution of Zheng Chenggong’s image in the theoretical context of post-colonialism.The last chapter concludes with a review and summary of the text with three objectives, reiterating the importance and necessity of studying" Zheng Chenggong literature" in Sino-Japanese comparative literature in the context of the unprecedented internationalization of dialogue. |
