Research On The Association Between Zheng Group And Holland In The Ming And Early Qing Dynasties(1625-1661)

At the end of the Ming Dynasty,the development of maritime commerce was very fast,and there appeared many maritime groups in the East China Sea.Later,Zheng Group emerged as the ultimate overlord.After the Age of Discovery,European countries began to expand their colonies abroad,and Portuguese,Western,British and Dutch countries established colonies in Southeast Asia one after another.After half a century of competition,the Netherlands gradually seized control of the East Asian trade network with Taiwan as its base.At that time,there appeared two big trade groups in the southeast coast of China,Zheng ' s and Dutch colonist,both of which had the complicated relations of cooperation and competition.This article takes the event which has changed the nature of the relationship between the two groups as the representative,combing the development and change of the relationship between the two sides.This article will be divided into two chapters on the exchange between the group and the Netherlands,one is the Zheng Zhilong period,the other Koxinga period,using the major events of the two periods as the media,to analyze the changes in the relationship.The Zheng Zhilong era was divided into two periods:Zheng Zhilong's joint campaign with the Netherlands against other pirates,and the battle for the Japanese market.The KOXINGA era was also divided into two parts: the Great Commissioner's trade embargo and Johor ' s hijacking of ships.The four events selected have a significant impact on both sides of the relationship.Finally,the paper explains the influence of the change of the relationship on the whole East Asian trading system and the Zheng Group itself.
