The Evolution Of Network Structure Of Urban Tourism Flow From Multi-scale Perspective

Abstract/Summary:
Tourist flow has become an important approach to tourism elements flow and the key link in tourism activities,with the development of our country’s economy,the innovation of transportation,the rise of mass tourism,tourist flow is more and more frequent between attractions,tourist flow network is more and more complex,the arrival of the experience economy makes tourism image consumption gradually becomes the mainstream,high degree of industrialization and commercialization of urban,brings together the high quality tourism resources and perfect supporting facilities,and tourists to the area specific image positioning of the main parts.The arrival of the era of big data provides a new data support for the study of the evolution of tourism flow.In addition,challenges and opportunities coexist in the tourism development of Wuhan,and contradictions and shortcomings in the tourism development are further highlighted,which restrict the development of tourism to a certain extent.Existing studies are mainly focused on large-scale and static tourism flows,while the dynamic study of urban interior scale needs to be strengthened.In this paper,Wuhan is taken as a case,and the travel data of Ctrip and Qunar are captured by Gooseeker as the research data,and the mathematical statistical analysis,ArcGIS spatial analysis and social network analysis are used to analyze the spatial scale of the whole and central urban areas of Wuhan.The structural characteristics,distribution characteristics,nodes and overall network characteristics of tourism flow network in 2010,2015,2019,2020 and 2010-2020 are compared and analyzed to explore the evolution law,and the factors affecting the tourism flow network structure are analyzed to put forward suggestions for network structure optimization.Research shows that:(1)The tourist flow in Wuhan is concentrated in the central urban area,and the tourism has obvious peak season.The tourists’ stay time in Wuhan is short and the cost is limited.The degree of node connection fluctuates at the two scales,the spatial scope of tourism flow network structure expands continuously,and the distribution of scenic spots is more concentrated and the connection is more close at the central urban scale.(2)At the scale of the whole region and the central city of Wuhan,the ability of tourism node collection,distribution and connectivity first increased and then weakened,and the intermediary ability first weakened and then strengthened and then weakened,with great differences in the centrality among nodes.The radiative function of nodes is stronger,and the gathering and distributing ability of nodes is stronger at the scale of central urban area.It is relatively smooth from one node to other nodes,and the internal and external connection of nodes is more convenient at the global scale,while the difference in the connection convenience of nodes at the central urban scale is small.The number of nodes acting as intermediary varies greatly,and the intermediary ability of the top nodes is unstable.The mean value of the two-scale lower limit system shows a decreasing trend,and the development restrictions of each tourism node are weakening.In 2019,the advantages are more obvious.On the whole,the development advantages of each scenic spot still outweigh the disadvantages,but the development also faces certain challenges.The comprehensive evaluation ranking of nodes fluctuates,and the leading role of core nodes is stronger in the central urban area scale,and the difference of node development level is smaller.(3)Two scales the number of tourism node and the network density increased after decreased first,three center potential fluctuations,the overall network connection is not stable,the network structure is loose,failure to form a whole complete mesh structure,urban scale overall network density is higher,the node in the network distribution,unicom and mediation ability is stronger.The network structure of the two scales has obvious "core-edge" characteristics,and the structure stratification phenomenon in the network has weakened.The network structure is developing towards the direction of equalization.The scenic spots in the edge region have improved the connection between the region and the core region to some extent.In terms of cohesive subgroups,the strong-hadron subgroups are closely connected,the weak subgroups are lack of connection,the strong subgroups attract some weak subgroups,the network connection is closer at the central urban scale,and the regional correlation between subgroups is more significant.(4)The improvement of the traffic network and the development degree,level and endowment of the tourism resources,tourism service facilities,spatial proximity,special events,the government’s policies and measures to tourists tourism node selection and impact tourism flow network structure,the future can be from a perfect tourist traffic layout,the integration of regional tourism resources,strengthening attractions collaboration,innovation mode of tourism development,To strengthen the ability to deal with special events and other aspects of tourism flow network structure optimization.
