The romance of the Three Kingdoms is one of the four famous works in China.It has created more than 400 characters.Through characterization and plot promotion,it describes the historical process of ancient China in the past 100 years.The volume of the article is huge,with 750000 words.At the same time,the book adopts a relatively mature romance novel language,language is very refined,and achieve the combination of supernatural and literary and white characteristics and unity.The characteristics of these two aspects determine that the romance of The Three Kingdoms has a strong research value and significance.Through the description,analysis,induction and arrangement of the words in the Romance of The Three Kingdoms,this paper describes their general language features and their influence on today’s language research,thus providing new vitality and impetus for the study of synonyms in the special book and even for the development of Chinese lexicology.This paper,with introduction and conclusion,is divided into six parts:The introduction part first expounds the origin of the topic and the research value and significance of choosing this topic,then expounds the overview of synonym research and synonym research in Romance of The Three Kingdoms,and finally makes necessary explanations of the research methods and problems that need to be explained.Chapter one: General situation of monosyllabic synonyms in Romance of The Three Kingdoms.Firstly,the basic situation of monosyllabic synonyms in The Romance of The Three Kingdoms is simply described and summarized.Secondly,according to the classification of parts of speech,each group of synonyms is listed in detail according to noun,verb and adjective.Chapter two to Chapter four: Distinguishing features of monosyllabic synonyms in The Romance of The Three Kingdoms.Put the monosyllabic synonyms in The Romance of The Three Kingdoms into the part of speech,and select the monosyllabic noun synonyms(14 groups),the monosyllabic verb synonyms(27 groups),and the monosyllabic adjective synonyms(11 groups)in order to distinguish the characteristics of synonyms.In the process of distinguishing the distinguishing features of each kind of monosyllabic synonyms,this paper investigates and differentiates each group of synonyms from the subtle distinguishing features of semantics,grammar and pragmatics,and finally summarizes the distinguishing features of each kind of monosyllabic synonyms in The Romance of The Three Kingdoms.Conclusion: The innovative achievements of the research on monosyllabic synonyms in the romance of the Three Kingdoms and the summary of its value.
