A Study On Monosyllabic Verbal Synonym In Hanshu

HanShu is the first dynastic history in biography system of China. It includes BanBiao, BanGu, BanZhao and MaXu and becomes a book in which all the events recorded are so accurate, fluent. This book is always praised by the historian as the firest Four historian character with ShiJi,HouHanShu,SanGuoZhi. The continuity of China 5,000 years culture is just reflected by the penetrating Twenty-Four Histories. Later dynasty history all imitate HanShu's style which can show the importance of HanShu, in which many allusions are started from and many academic article emerges. HanShu is a book that can't be missed to read, if you don't read it you should not understand the glamour of it. However, HanShu has exerted a far-reaching influence in literature. Its characters are refined and rich and the norm is order.It is the important historical material for studying the original language of Han Dynasty and it will be great helpful for finding out some characteristics of the language at that time, for understanding the original appearance of the language of Han Dynasty, for seeking the rule of development of the language. Choosing HanShu as research object, I exactly realize that its position in the language research of Han Dynasty. On the basis of original text of HanShu and reading it conscientiously, we insist that words have a same relation to confirm synonym which have been consulted from not only the materials correlating with HanShu, especially the annotation by Yanshigu, but also Shuowenjiezi, Erya, Yupian, etc. This paper has a research on monosyllabic verb synonym in Hanshu, including the conclusion of them and the discrimination of them."Same"is classifying the monosyllabic verb synonym in Hanshu."Discrimination"is analyzing the difference of the monosyllabic verb synonym in Hanshu. This paper has received some modern semantics theory, grammar theory, and pragmatics theory, from the three aspects i.e. semanteme aspect, grammar aspect, language using aspect to analyze monosyllabic verb synonym in Hanshu. After study monosyllabic verb synonym in Hanshu, we hope for the contribution to enriching studying materials of Hanshu, and can strengthen the understanding of archaic Chinese synonym at the same time.
