In the process of learning music,staff and simplified notation are the visual music learning materials we most often contact.Related studies have found that the sign space position has an impact on pitch judgment.Therefore,theoretically speaking,the staff with direct symbolic space position features as visual music learning materials should be more conducive to improving the ability of learners to judge pitch compared with the simplified music.Through the review of the existing literature at home and abroad,it is found that there are few researches on the spatial processing of musical score and brain and pitch judgment,as well as the differences between staff and simple notation in brain spatial processing and their influence on pitch judgment.The training of pitch recognition and judgment has always been an important part of music education.The ability of pitch judgment is very important for music appreciation and learners,which directly affects whether the listeners can appreciate music well and whether learners can learn music well.As a subjective perception,the accuracy of auditory pitch is easily affected.In the study of visual and auditory interaction,it is found that there is a "up-down" spatial representation in pitch,and there is a corresponding relationship between visual spatial position information and auditory pitch.How to improve pitch judgment ability through visual-spatial location information has become a topic of close attention in music education and psychology.The paper by two experiments,on hearing single channel and audio-visual dual channel,in the form of behavior experiment combined with ERP experiment,the staff and the chords of pure pitch notation for visual material,the score of the two kinds of space information and the difference between the dominant(presentation)characterization,recessive(using spectral habits and music training)coding difference study of the influence of pitch judgment,In order to prove this problem from the Angle of musicology with psychological methods.Similarly,if this result is applied to solfeggio training,it can provide theoretical support and basis for music material selection and training principle in training.In the first experiment,participants were asked to judge the direction of two pitches by changing the relationship between the two pitches(piano tone).Integrated with ERP technique records during the pitch aims subjects to complete task synchronization of eeg response,explore the impact of space information coding on pitch judgment behavior and neurophysiological mechanism,with staff and chords space position information coding training effect brought by the differences(proficiency and type training)effect on the pitch to judge.The experimental results show that in the process of musical score learning and training,the coding difference caused by the representation of spatial location information will affect the spatial processing ability of learners,and thus affect the pitch judgment ability.With the deepening of score proficiency,the training effect of spatial position information encoding of staff is more significant than that of simple notation.Experiment 2 adopts the audiovisual dual-channel task,and adds staves and simplified spectral visual materials with the same or opposite pitch sequence as the auditory materials on the basis of experiment 1,so that the participants can judge whether the pitch trend on the hearing and the pitch trend in the vision are consistent.Er P technology was comprehensively used to record the EEG response of participants who completed the synchronous experimental task during pitch audiovisual identification,to explore the behavioral performance and neurophysiological mechanism of the influence of spatial position information channels on pitch judgment,and to investigate the effect of spatial position information coding training effect and visual(presentation)spatial position information interaction on pitch judgment after adding visual spatial position information.The experimental results show that the stave presentation method and professional music training can significantly improve the students’ pitch judgment ability.The combination of behavior and EEG results reflects the musical training,that is,the training effect(proficiency)of spatial position information coding interacts with the coding of visual spatial position information,which has a more significant advantage in pitch judgment;in the representation and coding of visual spatial position information,the staff is better than the simple spectrum,and with the deepening of the degree of musical training,the staff score advantage is more obvious.The results of the study can be applied to the selection of music textbooks in schools,sight singing ear training and other aspects.This study draws the following conclusions:(1)The training effect caused by the encoding difference of musical score spatial position information and the spatial representation difference presented by musical score spatial position information in the visual channel both have a positive influence on pitch judgment.(2)In the process of music score learning and training,the coding differences caused by the representation of spatial location information will affect the spatial processing ability of learners,and thus affect the pitch judgment ability.With the deepening of score proficiency,the training effect of spatial position information encoding of staff is more significant than that of simple notation.(3)The representation and encoding of visual spatial position information of music score in the pitch judgment of audio-visual double channel,staff is superior to simple score.In the pitch judgment,the training effect of score coding(proficiency level and type training)has a positive interaction effect with the representation and encoding of visual spatial position information,especially professional music training has a more obvious training advantage on the pitch judgment of visual spatial position information of staff.Through the conclusion above,it is proved that music professional training,staff reading and staff learning materials can significantly improve the individual’s pitch judgment ability,using staff teaching materials and using staff solfeggeting ear practice,can better promote the students’ pitch judgment ability.
