A Study On The Propagation Of Dialectal Web Celebrity In Short Video Platforms

Network applications have also spawned a revolution in the new media content industry time and again as the development of network application technology continues to drive the reshaping of content production and consumption patterns.The emerging short video production cycle is short,small cost,low threshold,easier to spread and accept,and more in line with the laws of the new social media era of the network when compared with the traditional sense of online video.This has led to the rapid development of short-form video applications and platforms,and has led to the penetration and development of the traditional web celebrity phenomenon into the new application field of short-form video.Due to the deepening and popularization of the application of short video technology,especially the major short video platforms have tilted their user content production toward the regional and localized aspects of third-and fourth-tier cities,the phenomenon of short video net popularity in dialects has also emerged.In practice,the "regionalization" feature of short video platforms such as Tiktok has gradually emerged,and netizens arc increasingly producing content in dialects or producing dialect-related topics.These user accounts either tell various stories in local dialects,or spout emotional topics,or perform "language stems".In recent years,coupled with the rise of live c-commerce and web celebrity to take goods,dialects have further become an important means of short-form video content expression,becoming a unique " web celebrity"communication landscape.This paper argues that rethinking the dialect phenomenon has strong practical and cultural value.Based on a review of the emergence and development of domestic short-form video applications and platforms,this paper compares the current situation of the dialect-based short-form video web celebrity as a communication phenomenon.Then,this study analyzes its communication practice in terms of creative subjects,content,form and its dialect use.Finally,this paper gives a multi-directional consideration to the practical significance and cultural value of the phenomenon of dialectal web celebrity in short videos,and at the same time points out the problems gives some countermeasure suggestions in its communication practice.
