Research On Pottery Art In Zaozhuang Area

As an important part of Shandong traditional art,pottery art in Zaozhuang is one of the forms of cultural heritage with great local characteristics and regional style.The earliest traceable pottery production in Zaozhuang is 7,600 years ago in the Fine Stone Age.It has been developed through the Beixin culture period and the Dawenkou culture period.There are many ancient kiln sites,unearthed cultural relics and a lot of historical records,which have become the main doorway for people to understand Zaozhuang pottery today.The Zaozhuang area is rich in resources,which provides certain convenience for pottery firing.But the decisive factors affecting its inheritance to this day are by no means only material.Potters continue to innovate in the process of making and firing pottery,and integrate the excellent traditional culture of the region in the ornamentation and modeling elements.The characteristics of Zaozhuang pottery inherited to this day determine that the focus of its research should not be limited to the level of modeling,artistic features,and production techniques.Rather,we should start from the perspectives of folklore,sociology,art,and history and culture,and analyze the layers,in order to better analyze the essence and connotation of the excellent traditional culture behind the inheritance.The study of modern pottery in Zaozhuang is based on historical documents,physical remains,and visits and research.By tracing the development of the regional environment,social system,folk beliefs and living customs in the Zaozhuang area,we analyze the development history of pottery in the Zaozhuang area from a practical nature to a cultural carrier.Then,we analyze the pottery types,ornaments,production techniques and inheritance methods of different regions in Zaozhuang.Finally,based on the perspective of cultural industry development,we propose possible suggestions on the current situation and problems of pottery development in the Zaozhuang area,and analyze the future possibilities of regional "non-heritage" projects.
