Cantata "Fill Your Heart With The Wonderful Fire Of God" Music Analysis And Singing Exploration

Johann Sebastian Bach,as one of the most representative figures of classical music in the Baroque period,is known as the “father of music”.He created numerous popular music works in his life,among which Cantata works occupy the most important position in the field of vocal music works.Works in this thesis,based on soprano aria the cantata “let the heart is full of god’s wonderful flame” as the research subject,with its creative overview,music features,singing skills as a gist for depth profiling,to deep understand the humanities connotation and the unique Bach baroque style,improve the art accomplishment of singing,to lay a solid foundation for better interpretation work.The article is divided into five parts to discuss.The first part: briefly explain the background and significance of the topic,research methods,research status and the topic innovation and shortcomings.The second part: based on the brief introduction of the composer,the background of his works and the particularity of religious works,the background of cantata’s “Fill your heart with the Wonderful Flame of God” is comprehensively summarized.The third part: an in-depth analysis of this work from the musical structure,melody characteristics,piano accompaniment and lyrics characteristics.The fourth part: was a key part of the thesis,the author combined with personal singing practice,how to use singing skills,how to merge with the piano parts,and elaborates the design of body movements in the singing,etc,and strive for more perfectly interprets the cantata “let the heart is full of god’s wonderful flame” spirit put forward his own opinions.The fifth part: The conclusion summarizes the author’s experience,summary and feelings when studying how to sing Cantata’s “Fill your heart with the Wonderful Fire of God”.
